PMDG JS41 wasn´t that good

I think it was appropriate at that time - compared to the PMDG planes I own currently, JS41 was the only PMDG plane that I had never flew extensively, Simply it was not good as the planes we currently have in the sim today.

  • As can be seen through the annual Navigraph surveys, the vast, vast majority of simmers (that at least will do a survey) want the latest modern jet airliners only. A developer takes a risk with anythi

  • I really, really hope that JustFlight considers doing a Dash-8. It would fit perfectly in their current lineup and fill a huge void.

I loved the JS41 in FSX. Although no doubt I’d be disappointed if I tried it again today.

Attempted recently to revive my FSX PC just for that PMDG JS41…couldn’t stand it…actually the SIM…🙂…more than the airplane…

Interesting comment. I was quite happy with the J41. Everyone's mileage varies......

For me, it was the opposite. I flew the JS41 all the time until the Majestic Dash8 took its place as my favourite FSX plane.

Comparing that (old) JS41 to today’s payware aircraft is probably not a fair comparison…🙂

It certainly stood out as an excellent turboprop airliner in our earlier SIMs, and, also, released a few years before the Q400, as I recall.
So, in some ways, it was a trend-setting turboprop SIM of the time, which I personally enjoyed a great deal.

Surely, if PMDG were to do another (improved) iteration of it in MSFS2024, though I’m not holding my breath for it…that would be so welcome.
