Azrsim LFPG & EHAM coming

Featured Replies

Azrsim just announced LFPG and EHAM and SBGL for this year on their Discord.

They have some decent sceneries for parts of the world not covered by most other developers.

I hope they can pull it off!

I’ve seen some of their sceneries on sale before, how is their work?

I have their Baku and Baghdad and they’re both pretty decent. It’s not top tier quality (i.e. Flightbeam) but definitely a solid mid tier in my opinion.
Those airports they announced are much bigger than anything they’ve done before - let’s see how it turns out.

Either way it’s great that someone is finally tackling those!

So, is that three developers tackling LFPG? For the record, I only need one.

no disagreement, very solid mid tier developer i have both Baku's (UBBB/UBBF and Baghdad)

I won't judge before LFPG is out, but I'd be highly surprised if Azrsim's LFPG scenery was better than the handcrafted Asobo version that came with one of the World Updates for free.

They look good, yes I agree, and their Arabian stuff is interesting because no one else does those reliably. Unfortunately none of their sceneries work with BeyondATC, because they neglect the most basic scenery building stuff. They shoot out sceneries with one after the other in a very short timeframe, and they have all kind of errors. Then eventually they come back and do a V2 (sometimes even a V3) and make you pay again for them, all within about one (!) year.

I mean just look at their plan for one (!) year: OEJN, EHAM, LFPG, SBGL. Other good devs need 2 years for LFPG or EHAM and they want to do all of that in one year. You can figure out the rest of the story

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

LFPG is a base sim airport, not a world update airport.

It was improved a bit in 2024.

Uh oh, that will be a non-starter for me.

Being the handcrafted Asobo version is missing taxiways I think a payware version will cover that.

Now wishing for a new KORD and LEMD-maybe something a dev could bring us with an ini or Pyreegue level of quality as LVFR and FSDT don't care about their airports that much as they are focused on planes-LVFR and GSX Pro-FSDT.

Same goes for LTFM-we only have the SceneryTR payware and not ini or Pyreegue level of quality/calibre.

Excited to see what AzrSim will do with EHAM and LFPG as I've very much enjoyed their Baku and other airports so far.

The performance on their Baku scenery wasnt that impressive.

Hopefully they have improved since, because if not, the LFPG will be very tough on your system.

Well *they* probably won't. Their airports all have no (named) taxiways just like the Asobo one.

The Asobo/Gaya LFPG has named taxiways.

The only Asobo/Gaya airports I recall with missing taxiway names are KATL and LPFR
