Framegen is problematic enough without being dynamic.  My 5060ti doesn't like it. dd

  • I think he runs a 4090 and dynamic fg is for 50 series? If that's the case, he can only guess about what it will bring.

I think I can easily wait for real info, test(s) and real documented benchmark(s) and not listen to Youtuber pure guess/speculations 😉

If I get it right (before leaving office and facing my MSFS PC): DLSS 4.5 - available now - requires

  1. nvidia App Beta
  2. nvidia driver 595.79 WHQL

  • Dynamic Multi Frame Generation will be available in Spring'26. Spring is from March to May. So ?
  • Multi Frame 6x requires a RTX 50 series and an updated DLL + compatible title (MSFS2020 and 2024 are in the compatibility list : https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/nvidia-rtx-games-engines-apps/)
  • DLSS 4.5 Frame Generation New models requires RTX 40 or RTX 50 Series (DLSS override - Model Presets -> Preset B)
  • DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution "reduced ghosting" requires Super Resolution set to "Recommended in "Models Presets". Some of these models (M and L) have strong impact on RTX 20 and 30 Series and should maybe stay in 4.0 with model K

A lot of different features with different requirements and availabilities, right?

Check my free MSFS sceneries : https://flightsim.to/profile/vbazillio/trending and my hardware configuration.

Updated the latest Nvidia app and now FG is not working in 2024. FSR still works. Rolling back the driver did not fix the issue.

Not sure if I got it working correctly....Enabled dynamic mode in the NV App, selected preset B.

What am I getting with DLSS4.5 that I can't get with Lossless Scaling? The only difference I currently see is that DLSS uses integer FG factors, unlike LS.

I had to do a clean install of nvidia. Works now.

The latest dlls files still seem to be 310.5.3.  Should there not be new ones 3.10.6?
