April 21Apr 21 About to download. Spectacular aircraft and I am happy to see an update. Also, no more Gizmo! Only if IXEG updated theirs to not use Gizmo anymore, I would do away with that plugin!

Now, how about the TBM update for XP12? 🙂 Well the good news is that the supposed hold up on finishing the TBM update was that Toto was focused on the CL650 update. So the path should be clear for the TBM update now! Here's hoping. I truly miss that aircraft but just can't bring myself to reinstall XP11 just to fly the TBM.

April 22Apr 22 It doesnt look like they included weather radar yet, it's a shame because this is one of the best addon, hopefully it will be added soon.

Monday at 05:08 PM3 days Hi all,I have been thinking about purchasing the 650 for a few years now and wondering if it is still worth it? I know it’s the best simulation of a real jet available on any sim. My main hesitation is how much time it takes to get a flight off the ground. I’ve watched quite a few videos over the past few months but it’s hard to judge what’s necessary and what steps you can skip in preflight? I fly quite a few corporate jets in XP12 and FS2020, and have gotten the preflight down, very quickly on most, ( Citation X for instance). For instance, does the FMS sync with simbrief for flight plan, fuel load and passengers? Or do I have to manually plug that all in?thanks for any guidance!

Once you get the flows down, you could be in the air within 20-30 minutes, max. To skip a cold and dark startup, you can save panel states. You can access Simbrief from the FBO within the CL650 package, and it syncs to the FMS. Everything is included.

And.... do you intend to update the DC-3 in the future, specially after 12.5 get's to the road ? It's been quite a while since I last installed it, on pair with the VSkylabs airliner (they somehow complement each other in some aspects of the simulation... ), but your dc-3 was the first decent dc-3 I purcahsed for XP, by the times of Xp10 ( or was it 9 ???) But those things are relevant to the TBM. I'm not sure how far along he is, but libturbine was a major addition to get done, and he wanted it to be finished so other developers could use it for their prop aircraft. I know of one payware developer who is already using it for their upcoming add on. What he does for the dev community is beyond generous. 2 hours ago, jcomm said:Ah! New model, new textures, new code, extremely comprehensive systems. I'm getting close to the end of it. I'm not overstating it when I say this will be a massive upgrade.

That sounds reasonable. Maybe it's just the YouTubers going too slowly on the demos I've watched. I do like to get going quickly, but I will never want to start on the runway with engines running. I just don't want to have to walk around the plane pulling off pitot covers etc. Thanks for the response!
