April 30Apr 30 Hi folks, fstl V1.9.0 just got released. It does not use FR24 live feed anymore instead using static/schedules based traffic input. Tried it in FS24. For some reason it does not show airborne traffic. It only shows the parked aircrafts. Parked ac quantity is set to off as well as airport traffic quantity.
April 30Apr 30 Well, it has lost it's glory 😮💨 Not interested anymore after losing FR24-feed unless they can come up with another solution... Edited April 30Apr 30 by MPL Mikael Leinonen

May 1May 1 For me the loss of FR24 makes it less appealing too, but I wouldn’t write it off completely yet. If they can get the airborne side working again, schedule-based traffic with decent model coverage can still be good enough for a lot of offline IFR flying. Right now though, if it’s only giving you parked traffic, I’d wait before rebuilding a setup around it.
May 1May 1 There isn't just parked traffic. You need to enable live traffic in MSFS and set everything to Ultra. See here: https://flightnews24.de/2026/04/30/live-traffic-mit-fsltl-1-9-0-so-gehts/ It works very well; I tested it at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF) and Muinch Airport (EDDM). The aircraft displayed are the same ones shown on Flightradar24. And you can also use the AIG models. Prost Torsten Künne

However it avoids parked aircraft with blank liveries.
May 1May 1 WOW! This new version is doing some good things. It's actually parking most aircraft in the correct spots. It's even parking AIG's GA. The best part is that parked aircraft don't change or disappear like we see with default parked aircraft. I'm currently testing with AIG, but I did check FSLTL models and they also look & perform very good. Has anyone tried using both FSLTL models and AIG? It might be overkill? If I would have waited, I would have only downloaded the AIG GA & Private fleet and FPs. MSFS
May 1May 1 I wouldn't run both full stacks at once unless you really enjoy troubleshooting. For me the overlap is where things usually get messy first, especially with model matching and parking. If you already have AIG and you're happy with the coverage, I'd keep that as the base and only add the specific FSLTL pieces that solve a real gap. For a rebuild, AIG GA/private plus the flightplans sounds like the cleaner option to me.

To keep it simple, I'm sticking with the AIG fleet. It's the best of both. Airliners & GA are finally working together with real-time traffic, I don't see default airlines such as 737s or 787s or white aircraft. Airplanes parked are not floating, and they don't disappear at altitude. I wish this would have happened sooner. I'm off to download mor GA FPs from AIG. MSFS

I'm gutted that FSLTL no longer injects live traffic. I am currently downloading AIG but have no idea what I am doing, or what OCT is and it looks like a six hour job. I just want MSFS to use the planes. How do I get MSFS to use the fleet? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

May 1May 1 I sometimes fly on vatsim and have been using fsltl’s provided vmr file. I’m tempted to try AIG with the real time traffic for my offline flying (more often). Is there a way to create a vmr file for the aig models I install or should I just stick to the fsltl models for vatsim?
