Share pls if this is normal.

You can try two things: In real world night flying, it is important to keep your instrument lighting as dim as possible at all times and the cockpit dark (something not easy today with all those cockpit screens), your eyes will adapt quickly to the outside/inside ambient darkness (you will be surprised of how dim you can go), secondly, (in flight sim only...!) I believe you can reduce the reflection quality in your settings, that should help hopefully.

    Better delayed than released broken.

I keep spamming the refresh on this topic. The ATR is one of my favourite aircraft - but slightly broken in MSFS. Like a previous poster, I'd rather it was all fixed than rushed out half-baked. I hope

is it possible to get navigraph charts in th efb?

I think you mis understand what I mean look at the msfs forum other users also posted it. With screenshot some Wierd rainbow is gliding thought the window. Really districting. Oke som bit of reflection in the dark etc but this seems abnormal

During 2020 use i was not able to complete a single flight because of bugs. Over all the updates, this did not change. Always some deal breaking bugs.

No i was looking forward to the 2024 launch. Hopefully without bugs.

Now i cant even enter my Simbrief ID in the EFB because the ENTER button does not work.

A masterpiece again, Hans Hartmann.

Dude I cannot believe that reflection stuff is the same in real life. It just looks like a repetitive image. If you look at the msfs forum so Reflection at the cockpit window is crazy. Share pls if this is normal.

You can get rid of those severe reflections by setting "Raymarched Reflections" to Medium in settings. It completely removed them.

You may need to disable the 2020 version. People who has this problem have found that they were in fact still in the old version. Disable the 2020 version, restart MSFS (essential) then load up and go back to the ATR.

Update: Engines start with condition levers in the Fuel cutoff position??? Which makes it impossible to shut them down. Odd.

Fixed it by assigning "Toggle Feather Switch 1/2" to the Prop levers on my CH throttle quadrant. The viual position of the condition levers does not necessarily indicate what is actually commanded. Very tricky.

Cheers

yup wanted to try this new version (without much hope of it being to the level i hoped it would be to be honest and it didn't fail 😄) and i have the same issue. (i have disabled the 2020 version).

i found out that it's discussed here : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/atr-72-while-trying-to-integrate-my-simbrief-id-into-the-efb-can-not-use-enter/624214

there is maybe some sort of little trick by clicking on the edge of the button, i did that, not sure if it worked because the button stays at 'log in' but then i had almost immediately a WASM crash when clicking on import (before even trying to fly or do system stuff) .. it's really in a bad state for some us.

oh well if someone finds a reliable solution it would be nice 🥰 or we'll just wait for the next patch with high hopes like we've always do with this plane 🤣

...and note that the original post above was registered in January 2024!!

Yes - my 2020 version is also well and truly disabled and I have had to go back to typing the plan manually into the MCDU because I have the same issue.

It is odd that some folks have the (identical) problem and many don't. I have MSFS2024 on a different drive - maybe it's that?

The navigation data in the FMC still doesn't seem to be up to date (even though the data is up to date according to Navigraph Hub): for example, the SIDs LAM 6M and 6V are missing for EGKK.

Sorry, false alarm — selected the wrong runway.

Have had 3 flights with the updated -600 version & in each case had PC screen flickering throughout the flight.

Tried some GA aircraft & no problems.

Anyone else had the flickering?

Was it attributed to Einstein that "the mark of insanity is repeating the same steps over again and expecting a different result"?

Well I repeated the same steps around 15 times...and then the 16th time (exactly the same steps) it accepted the Simbrief plan request!!!!!!! 😄

And - with it mysteriously fixing the flightplan import all by itself, I was able to try to remember (I've been waiting for an update for some time) how to do a cold and dark start, taxi, take-off and climb to cruise. And managed it!

I'll do a full flight this evening but, with what I've seen so far, I think I'm going to be a happy chappy 👍

This Hans Hartman stuff levels below Carenado in my mind meanwhile regarding long standing bugs, new small bugs, ridiculous bugs. But at least, the ATR looks good. :D
