If you live in the south, the west or the Midlands this is actually a very easy place to get to.

Looking at the site on Google Maps the Aerospace Bristol building is around 100 yards away from the Concorde Hangar. Perhaps some clarification is needed as to which building the show will take place in.

Birmingham is 100 miles from Manchester, 90 miles from London. It too was very easy to get to. It’s a 160 mile journey for me to this site.

For me, it would be a 220 mile journey each way.
It's not a problem, as I will not be going.
I shouldn't be surprised, I suppose, to read that the
much requested show is now the subject of critique,

Right next to the M4/M5 interchange if anyone is not familiar with the area.

Also, there is a very good freeware scenery on flightsim.to by Ripe (who has put a lot of time into it and has updated it many times) which shows it how it was before they built houses on it.

Such a shame to see such a historical site ripped apart for housing.

I can take a cheap flight to Bristol Airport from Newcastle. No big deal. I just need the exact dates. Driving is around 5 hours.

Indeed, it's very easy to get to, literally one and a half miles off Junction 17 of the M5. You don't have to drive through any town or anything, all dual carriageway! BTW, I visited the museum only last week for the second time, with my brother, who was visiting from Florida. I can absolutely guarantee, that if anyone visits this beautiful aircraft, they will become quite emotional. It's awesome to stand beneath such an iconic aircraft which was such a triumph of British engineering. BTW, my brother really enjoyed some simming during his visit!

Come on, Ray. This announcement is the best thing that has happened to UK flight simulation since October 2019. I expect to see you there in October. I have to drive down from Cumbria, which is probably around 250 miles, but you will not see me complaining. I would have driven to Land's End in Cornwall if I had to. I will be staying for the weekend, so 250 miles in one day is no big deal.

@Christopher Low , there’s been no announcement about which companies will be attending. I would expect Chris at Fulcrum to attend as it’s an ideal opportunity to sell his kit. @tutmeister ?

I’m 16 years older than you. Whilst I can drive okay the return in October would necessitate an overnight stay as it’s too far for a single day.

Let’s see which companies are going to attend.

Well, all I can say is that I will be disappointed if you are not there, Ray. I do understand you wanting to know which companies will be exhibiting, but these flight simulation shows mean far more to me than what products are on offer. I never get the chance to talk to other flight simmers directly in my day to day life, so attending this show to do exactly that is not something that I am going to refuse. That is priceless as far as I am concerned. Let's just see what the show organisers can do, and if they can encourage some support from the USA while they are at FS Expo 🤙

@Christopher Low , every month the NWFSG has a meeting in the village hall in Heald Green, right under the flight path into EGCC. Seeing the A380 at under 1,000ft is quite a sight.

We have one tomorrow and Chris of Fulcrum and me will be there. Visitors are welcome. £10 with food and drinks included. We have several members who bring their computers and WiFi is available.

I’d like to go Chris but when no one will be using the simulator I use and no one will be flying FSL Concorde it seems not exactly futile but very different to Cosford 2019.

I would expect FS Labs to be there since they have staff located in England. I’d be surprised if anyone from Aerosoft turned up. It’s tailor-made for Fulcrum to clean up with his yokes and throttle quadrant. 😎
