(although, the last one seems a bit ominous) 🤔My guess is after breaking off from Great Briton, saying toilet, water closet, or pee station seemed a little gauche. August 6Aug 6 In Italian, the toilet, water closet, lavatory, etc. is "bagno", which literally means bath. So Americans aren't the only ones who refer to it as a "bath" room.Dave Simulator: P3Dv6.1 System Specs: Intel i7 13700K CPU, MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Motherboard, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Video Card, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2280 SSDs, Windows 11 Home OS My website for P3D stuff: https://sites.google.com/view/thep3dfiles/home

Saturday at 07:45 AM4 days It irritates me that English people have started saying, can I GET a coffee, instead of can I HAVE.I know Americans speak that way but I've no idea why we have to copy. And why is solder, pronounced Sodder? Sodder sounds a bit risky to me. 🤔And why is box section called square tubing.

It is actually incorrect grammar to say "can I" when asking for something. I had an English teacher who used to drill that into our heads daily. If a student asked "can I have xxxxx?", she would say "I don't know, can you?".Dave Simulator: P3Dv6.1 System Specs: Intel i7 13700K CPU, MSI Mag Z790 Tomahawk Motherboard, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Video Card, 3x 1TB Samsung 980 Pro M.2 2280 SSDs, Windows 11 Home OS My website for P3D stuff: https://sites.google.com/view/thep3dfiles/home
