I finally bit the bullet... after 8-9 years... So I bought the Dornier Do-27 for FSX. However after installation when I select the aircraft in the aircraft selection menu FSX freezes and after a while crashes. Anyone experiencing this? Are there solutions. At the Aerosoft forum no one seems at home. FSX Acc Do-27 X v1.00 Win 7 64 bit Thanks in advance, Rob

Thanks Bill for the HU and remarks about FTX compatibility. Although I do not understand all of it. You say you use FTX IRL. So what could Vector add to that?

Good to hear that socalled 'older' addons still get some attention they really deserve!

Okay guys reviving an old thread  I enhanced the old C185 with the available mods (B.Stolle's FDE's and Daniel Gaulthier's cockpit clickspot sounds) I also added the RealEngine 1.4 gauge as per the above instructions. I edited the parameters with values I collected from various sources around the internet. I added two screenshot's with the changes I made. I have however two questions: 1. where are the edited values stored when directly edit the parameters in the gauge. I thought in the aircraft specific .ini file but that one seemed unchanged. 2. Are these values (somehow) correct in your opinion because the engine seems very fickle. Within 1-2 minutes after take off with take off power the engines just quits <_< Thanks in advance for any help! Rob

That's a good attitude. Well have fun with that half baked stuff. I refrain from buying ever from TrazBam again.

Select "Ignore crash and damage" in FSX settings.

I'm so disappointed by this company. They rip you off 50 bucks worth, there's still no SP to clear their mess up. They do their 'support' via Face book.. Another write off. Why do I never learn... :(

Great stuff. I have currently the Real Engine mod added to the default Carenado B58 and it works as well. Looking forward to this one very much!

Article explaning CI: http://www.boeing.com/commercial/aeromagazine/articles/qtr_2_07/AERO_Q207_article5.pdf And a nice (iPhone) app: Cost Index by Flight Efficiency Limited. You can make custom (depending on flight conditions) CI calculations. I use it for the Q400 (seperate app by the same developer)
