    I'm already using the Asus VG248QE which is the monitor they announced to be DIY compatible so I'm keen to try it out. If this works as good as it sounds I think this is going to be a big deal for PC gaming.

    I reinstalled FSX + Acceleration just yesterday and it activated just fine. It would be a sad day if they ever shut it down.

    Bought it. Installed into FSX & P3D and have been flying around the world all day. It's such a transformation it's like ...WOW!

    Hi all Just bought X-plane10 and so far it's been pretty impressive especially at night ...WOW, however I hear there are plugins that enhances the sim that little bit better. So what do I need to get (freeware or payware) that you would consider a must have. Thanks

    I like how the clouds blends into the surrounding mountains. Looks really nice. I have REX, AS2012 now I don't think I could resist adding OPUS to the collection.

    I have Win 8 Pro and so far no issues with P3D. Runs just as well as Win 7.

    Hi Just tried out this mod and it's working great for me. However, I have noticed that I don't see that "sparkle" anymore when using bloom. It's that shine when the light reflects off objects and lights. I also use REX lights but I have reverted to default textures but the problem is still there. This may not be to do with the mod but could be a corrupt file installation of some sort. Wondering if anyone could shed some um...Light on this. BTW Thanks Steve for your work on this. Much appreciated. Thanks

    Thanks for the feedback Pierre, Overall I think it looks better than both default FS9 and FSX textures.

    Has anyone managed to overide the AA in Flight. I've many tried many combinations and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I have sharpness set on Maximum but still have noticable jaggies.
