  1. A very important point : if your \Texture folder is corrupted (or even missing), you will ALSO get a crash due to weather.dll during flight load (tested and verified multiple times on my side).
  2. Make sure this one is up to date (fsdt manager) <Launch.Addon> <Name>Addon Manager</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>bglmanx.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon>
  3. Get yourself a Nvidia 9xx, think about migrating to DX10 (with fixer) or P3D and you should be running better.
  4. seriously..... Avsim forums ? me too, until fslabs finally releases !
  5. To me the greatest 3.2 advantage is the ability to use the shader mod posted elsewhere in this forum. That's actually what pushed me to upgrade.
  6. I run P3D on a 1200p monitor (quite a rarity), and run two extra 1080p monitors side by side for charts and stuff. No perf issue FPS wise on a cheap GTX 760. As long as the 3D stuff is kept on one monitor, it's all ok. However, when I tried nvidia surround, it was a disaster :^
  7. Okay Jaime. I will subscribe to your channel. But you will subscribe back to mine too
  8. Been there done that hehe Looks like NTSB and FAA are investigating why he headed with a bit too much freedom from the IAF to the ILS Ah wait, without ATC, from TERBY, you can possibly follow the LOST COMM plate (11-3 and 11-3A) just in case, heading 223° after TEB and then right turn 005° after 8.2 DME from TEB.. Or maybe he just followed an RNP arrival followed by a RNP 01R approach... (12-20 plates)... But... can you prove your ANP actually met the published RNP ? Still investigating
  9. I had a similar story after 2 years of stability on a OC'd processor : cpu started to overheat. Removed ventirad, cleaned processor with nail polish remover, put some new paste and mounted everything back in order, and voilà ! Looks like your cpu has overheated, or has lost OC stability over time. That happens ! If I were you,I'd slow the OC a bit to the 4.3-4.4 range and run some tests again. If it gets stable, chances are your processor is getting old. I know my 3820 can't OC as fast as it used to. Actually that is a safety feature when processor is unstable. Most if not all BIOS does that to allow the system to boot again when processor is unstable.
  10. Just noticed 353.30 was giving some TDR when using Chrome browser (driver resets). It's a documented issue, just in case some of you get the same problem...
  11. Just a little post to say thanks ! Downloaded and had a try yesterday, looks real good and promising. Adds a ton of contrast previously missing, and what a beautiful haze
  12. Try to delete all files and folders within C:\ProgramData\Package Cache directory And give it a try again ?
  13. Maybe they will work but you'll probably lack the braking functionality. Plane rudder pedals provide left/right rudder control but also wheel braking : To operate the rudder you press on the bottom part of the pedals, so that they slide back and forth on tracks, and to operate the brakes, you press the top part of the pedals so that they rotate towards the floor.
  14. If nvidia : Just download the target driver version you want from nvidia and launch the installer, whatever the current situation is. Installers are able to upgrade or downgrade automatically. In 15 years I never uninstalled a driver using cleaners and whatever "special process", and never had any version mismatch issue or failed install, may it be an upgrade or a downgrade..
  15. To me, for FSX, the Feelthere Embraer ERJ145 falls into this category !
  16. Just to let you know, my testing is done onto P3D 3.1
  17. So, what cloud factor are you all using with this SP6 ? I've set mine to 0.6, results are not too bad.
  18. Im using W7/64 myself but there's a 353.30 for W10 Here's the W10/64bit link http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/86510/en-us
  19. I can only encourage you. I went back from 364.72, too. The difference when aiming at clouds was drastic.
  20. With my 760, I confirm that reverting to 353.30 has increased performance, especially when VC view is aiming at dense clouds (ASN/RexTD). Not by 20fps as OP, but I keep a solid 28/30fps. A keeper for me.
  21. Overclocking with bclk is ofter unstable, at some point. However, not the case here with 4690K I second what has been said, a reasonable OC on a -K series, only done with the internal multiplier, is totally safe. Provided that you mount a good cooler (air or liquid, just get the higher-end stuff that you can afford, for example Noctua for air-based cooling). Since you're not gonna build the machine yourself, your assembler is probably able to do that in a professional manner, and have it tested and proven totally safe. Rememer that K CPUs (and to the extent, most modern CPUs) are purposedly _designed_ for OC. OCing is not breaching any rules (Apart Dad's own) :-)
