Can someone PLEASE be so kind and to check to see if they fixed the flight planner issue with routes as discussed here:

I do 5 different things with this sim and enjoy every single one of them. It's why it's the best flight simulator ever created and it's the reason why it's the last sim I'll ever master.

So far I've only watched the beginning and I doubt that performance will be so much better with the new nVidia AA feature. My card (Titan X Pascal) probably doesn't even support it. TAA & DX12 will be my initial test and I'll probably stick with DX 11 to avoid VRAM CTDs. Update: I like what I'm seeing with the clouds. More of a vertical component and some variation. I even see multi level clouds. Looking good. Last Update: I like the weather radar support. The VFR map seems like a good idea if it can be moved to my tablet. That's a feature that will be disabled because it probably eats up fps and I don't need it. I use Flt Plan Go in the US and I get all the info on my external tablet. I'm not fond of blurry gauges so, I'll stick with TAA. Did I miss anything?

So the key is to use the drop down menu without touching the map? I know I've tried it, but I make an effort to not touch the map to see if it works.

This is great news. I wonder if this is something that the folks testing the beta can confirm?

Congrats! I though that this project was abandoned.

I'm bringing this back from the dead because I do many IFR flights a week, and I'm hoping for a fix. I always create the IFR flight in Simbrief, then download the .pln. After loading the .pln, most of the time if I have to make a change to the FP, it throws the loaded FP out of wack. I find myself entering the FP manually and it's a PITA. I'm just wondering if anyone has a solution to this time consumer?

Are we finally moving forward to experiencing a better core of this sim?

What the hell happened to my AVSIM? LOL Thankfully it's working now.

You should only replace the simobjects folder. That's all you probably need.

Look for the folder: AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache Right click on the folder and ZIP it to a safe location. Done!

It's happened since I started testing AIG TC & offline mode. In the past, I gave up on AIG because the TC kept shutting down on me. At one point I had no AI traffic so I bought Simple Traffic and tried to forget about AIG. I decided to try it out months later with the "real time" setting and it worked well. A week ago I started testing the TC and it worked and then a few days later, it did not. Today I have traffic with realistic liveries with an offline mode setting and the TC not running. I'm like what I'm seeing. It probably will only last until the next update. 😀

I agree. When you are PIC, you should be focused on PIC duties. On the other hand, they do make some YT look and sound great. 😀

If you missed this mod, then you probably don't know that there's a power lines mod. The community has stepped up from day one. Everything from fixing airports, to coastlines, to adding distant trees. This is an amazing & passionate community and I'm here just to spread the word. 😀

Take a minute or two to look through the MSFS AP folders. You will be pleasantly surprised of how small these folders are. Also, they answer to your question has been revealed. If you are lucky, most of your settings will be saved by the server. But, you airplane cam settings will not be available unless your back up your airplane profiles located in your main AP folders.

It's amazing what some people will do to save a few bucks on an add-on. It's also interesting that Flightsim.to has no problem hosting this mod, but deleted all soundpack downloads for SLC. Lastly, LukeAirTool is robust and FREE as has been stated on this thread. PACX has so much more to offer than just a safety announcement, the most important is automatic announcements. Set and forget. SLC (my choice) still works and is customizable. You can customize soundpacks to suit your needs and it works. It looks like the dev has retired from the project, but it still works for me when I want to do an occasional airline flight. The only thing good about this freeware mod is that it allows me to reinforce is that there are three good cabin announcement add-on for MSFS available today.
