  1. The CJ4 Modded is an excellent option. 😀
  2. The beta is currently available on the link provided by the OP. I downloaded and installed it, but have not had the time to test. I'll be doing that today.
  3. The add-on linker allows you to choose an entire folder. You can analyze and fix possible conflicts with one click.
  4. I'm bringing this lst back from the dead in order to provide an update: 1) Trainer - Sting S4 2) Complex Single (FUN) - Carenado Mooney Bravo (Still my #1 go to airplane to explore cities & sceneries.) 3) Light Twin - Milviz C310 (A marvel.) 4) Business Jet - MG's Honda Jet (H-Jet) 5) Airliner - PMDG 737 or Fenix A320 (Toss up.)
  5. I still have all my versions in a safe location. This one had a good intro:
  6. In all my years of simming, every time I hear about an ATC add-on I always compare it to the FU II & III ATC. So far I have not found an ATC, in a modern sim, with the quality, clarity, and pleasantness I found in the voices of FU III. It must be very hard to replicate, because it has not been done. XP12 sounds interesting. I would try it, just to see how the ATC stacks up to FU III. FSHUD is getting closer, but that's an add-on that is not included in a sim.
  7. Have you tried a clean install of the AIG TC? Have you tried to run MSFS with the AI on line "live" feature? You don't need to run the TC, but it takes a few minutes before you see the AIG traffic.
  8. I learned my lesson with P3D v4.5. The AS CRJ was a beautiful airplane but there were issues with the AP, CTDs, and then they had the audacity to want to charge me for an upgrade when they released their new fleet. I paid full price, waited almost a year to have the airplane updated, then they wanted me to pay some more. I was done!
  9. I'm glad you like it and thanks for sharing. I also learned everything I know from watching YT videos. There's even one to enable your ATC Chatter through the config. BTW, the latest beta includes full simbrief support. Jose
  10. The menu 'tool bar" has an ATC icon. You can disable it there. Keep in ind that you will not hear the push back voices. You can keep it enabled from the toolbar, then disable it right after you are done. Let me know how you like Pilot2ATC. Are you going to be using it with a headset to practice your ATC procedures or with the co-pilot feature? You can PM me if you prefer.
  11. This is what motivated me to become a Pilot. Here's an example of the ATC in FU II back in the late 90s.
  12. Don't make me look up the word "solution." 😀
  13. I gave the solution a long time ago. Add-On Linker
  14. They could also be missing some information.
  15. Beautifully written. What I meant is that as an IFR rated pilot, just because there's a disclaimer it doesn't mean that the info is not real or is like "the real thing." You can use them for your own personal training and enjoyment. You will still need legal charts for real IFR in a real airplane. We as IFR pilots should know all this info.
  16. Only if you want others to view you as a "hardcore simmer." 😀 Navigraph Ultimate is a poor man's ForeFlight. https://foreflight.com/ Disregard the red disclaimer on every NAVIGRAPH chart. As if, we are so dumb that we can't tell the difference between a sim and a real airplane. For the purposes of the sim: 1) It keeps MSFS, LNM, Pilot2Atc, and even some airplanes that support NAVIGRAPH navdata updated. Consistency! 2) The IFR planner is the best you can get. It layers all the charts that you need for your flights and it can be used as a moving map on a separate screen. These charts are Jep charts and are updated every 28 days. This is why it's subscription based. If you are a real world IFR Pilot you know that you have to have current charts. This is now possible for your sim. 3) The ap can be used on a tablet to track your flight and view all your charts. Handy for even more realism. 4) There are some airplanes such as my H-Jet or Fenix A320 that will display charts in the G3000 or Tablet. 5) When you support the NAVIGRAPH developer, you are also supporting Simbrief. We are so lucky to have this service. It's certainly not for everyone. But, if you want to stay sharp as a Single Pilot IFR operator, this is the must have subscription, because it's easy to use and very convenient when looking for those important charts. NAVIGRAPH & Pilot2ATC are the two best add-ons ever created for the flight sim enthusiast that wants to simulate IFR flights in the comfort of his/her home. We are lucky to have this service.
  17. This is why this community is fantastic! I never had any issues with the Google map because that's one of those add-ons that I test and if I feel I don't need it. I just reset my computer from an image I create after every WU.
  18. Corfu should be another outstanding add-on because Emilios never disappoints.
  19. ASOBO has to continue to improve the core sim: Flight planner can be more robust. Live weather can be improved significantly. AI traffic, especially the live feature, needs to be addressed and fixed. ATC is getting better but the voices are not as good and we need more voices. Default aircraft & avionics need constant updates. The WUs have been both a blessing and a curse. I like better looking cities, but not melted buildings, mismatch colors, or degraded performance.

  21. Live weather depiction. It's unreliable. Not good for Pilots. Obviously ATC & AI, but at least we have AIG & Pilot2ATC. I doubt that we will ever see the user speak directly to the program. It's so important to IFR operations and for years neglected by MS in its sims.
