Virtual Copilot "CrewMate INIA350" Help with testing needed
The poor guy has posted asking for help with his freeware product he is developing, and asking for a few testers to help find a few bugs and most people posting in here are just promoting other products. Marxio09dio, i'll download it this weekend and give it a try out.

PMDG released a statement yesterday l, saying that an update is due very soon for the 737 which fixes the micro pause issue.

Help idenitfy issue - RealTurb, PMDG or ChasePlane?
It's not user error. It's actually a PMDG 737 issue. For some reason, the PMDG 737 randomly pauses the sim for a split second, this causes ChasePlane to jump as it resets itself. PMDG are aware and looking into it. It also affects my VA flight tracking software in the PMDG 737; if I look at the logs, there is a ton of SIM PAUSED and SIM UNPAUSED in the logs. Fenix is fine, and so are many other aircraft.

I use the same snippet as 2020, and all seems good on my end

Vrinsight 737 OH Pro, compatibility with 2024
I have it running with SPAD and MSFS24 works just the same as it did in MS2020. No issues.

Sound cuts off and stutter
So after a few days of testing, I've done multiple flights on multiple aircraft. The sound stutter has completely gone for me. I flew the INI A350 low level over Los Angeles, and whilst my frame rate took a small hit as expected, I didn't get any stutters or hitches.

Sound cuts off and stutter
So I have gone into Device Manager and disabled everything sound-related apart from my USB headset. I've now done 2 flights with no pauses and no sound issues. It's too early to tell if it's a fix or a fluke, I'll report back after a few more flights to see if it's really gone.

Sound cuts off and stutter
This morning, I did a complete new installation of Windows 11, formatted all my drives, and started again as fresh as possible. All drivers are up to date, and I still have the same issue. It doesn't seem to matter what aircraft I fly, either. Anything from the default 172 to the Maddog all suffer the same issue of small stutters and sound popping. It's linked to the CPU spikes I see, but I can't figure out the reason for the CPU spikes. I've monitored my Vram. I'm only using around 80% of my 16-gig 4080. I have 64 gig RAM, which is only around half used. With Frame Gen on, I can easily hit between 100 and 120 FPS depending on the environment, I lock my frames to 60 so my GPU fans are not at max speed all the time. Nothing shows the system being heavily stressed yet these spikes accur.

Sound cuts off and stutter
I have this issue also with FS24 this only really started with me after I upgraded from a intel CPU to an AMD 9800X3D. I'm also using external sound via USB headset. I've also tried onboard sound but have the same issue. Also I get the CPU spike at the exact same time as the stuttering and the sound crackling. I've searched for this issue online and most who mention it seem to have AMD CPUs but I can't nail down the exact cause. This only happens with FS24. Doesn't happen in FS 2020 or anything else running on the same PC.

OpenPax: Open-source Passenger add-on (early development)
I wish you all the best. I'm no good at art UI design or programming, so I can't help, I'm afraid. I will definitely be checking it out once you have something ready though.

OpenPax: Open-source Passenger add-on (early development)
Thanks for the update, Leftos, and a big congrats on the S1 achievement. Are you only designing UI at the moment, or are systems being implemented as well?

This is sounding really interesting. Thank you for keeping us updated. I will definitely check this out once there is a release.

MSFS 2024 live weather broken?
Mine also reverts back to custom weather after every flight. I've gotten into the habit of checking once I'm in the cockpit to make sure live weather is set. I've not noticed much discrepancy between live weather and what I see out of the window. The main thing bothering me and this is nothing new, MSFS2020 had the same issue is the drastic shifts, it's mainly in the pressure changing drastically, again nothing new but it seems more frequent in the new sim.

MSFS 2024 and A Pilots Life V2
I'm using 7.50 beta version of FSUIPC in MSFS 24 and a pilot's life v2. Also using the Fenix with no issues at all. A pilots life is detecting FSUIPC and MSFS 24 just fine.

Raindrops...
There seems to be a bug for me, not with the Fenix but with MSFS24. If you have the windshield rain effect set on medium you can hardly see the effect unless you zoom right into the glass, but when trying to set the effect to high in the graphics menu it auto reverts back to medium. I cant get it to stay on the high setting no matter what I try.

Just Flight RJ Professional released
Forget that! The lights are on from an external view; it's just certain angles you can't see them from.

Does anyone else have a dark cabin from the outside? The lights are on when viewing internally, but with the external camera, all the cabin lights are out.

The best biz jet for FSX?
Hi all, I need some help deciding on my next FSX purchase. I have been using the new early access version of AirHauler 2 which i'm really enjoying. I set up a small company based in Dutch Harbour, Unalaska, flying the awesome A2A Comanche. I now want to expand the range of my virtual company with a biz jet. I have never owned any biz jet addons for FSX so i'm not familiar with any of the current products on offer. I'm looking for something that models the systems nicely, doesn't have to be study sim level like a PMDG aircraft but at least modelled to it's simulated enough to feel real. The external model whilst nice is less important to me, I'm not a screen shot taker or anything I just like flying so i'm always in the Virtual Cockpit rather than external camera view. So any suggestions?

Completed a successful flight from takeoff to landing, just a couple of small issues
Hi Dave, I just completed another flight Route: EGTE DAWLY UN864 EXMOR N864 MONTY EGCC EGTE has no departure procedures so after takeoff I was expecting to be vectored to the first waypoint in the plan which was DAWLEY. I had to make my own way there and then continued enroute to EGCC. I was assigned the MIRS1A Star with transition MONTY and the ILS RWY 05L. This is all great and matches the charts etc. However once leaving the final waypoint of the Star which was MIRSI i was not vectored to the ILS and again had to navigate my own way there. I double checked that it was supposed to be vectored and the APPR selection showed this. It said RWY05L - Approaches ILS - RW05L - I05L Transitions VECTORS TO IMM86 Am I doing something wrong or have I found a little glitch in the vectoring?

Completed a successful flight from takeoff to landing, just a couple of small issues
Hi, OK my flight plan was: EGLC CPT UY321 PEPIS/N0318F211 UQ41 SAM UL620 BRIPO EGTE Everything went fine with that route until I was asked to contact approach, It asked me to tune into 128.97 which is the correct freq, however I mistakenly tuned into 128.90 whilst this is my error the approach controller on the wrong freq actually accepted me and started giving me instructions as though they were EGTE approach. I never noticed this until I glanced over at the P2A screen and see I was tuned to wrong freq. Would be nice if the controller I have wrongly tuned to told me so. My second small issue was I was given the ILS26 approach which is fine and the P2A approach said I would be vectored to the ILS, however after leaving BRIPO on my filed flight plan Approach only gave me decent instructions and not vectors to the ILS, I had to manually guide myself to the ILS and then was handed over to tower. My next item is not a bug but more of a feature request. I did this flight in the Majestic Q400 and that bird is real hands on in the approach. Would it be possible to have an option for a co pilot to change the requested radio frequency's? I would still like to make the replies myself just flying finals whilst moving the camera in the cockpit to see the radio stack etc is quite hard to do when hand flying. I believe in real world flight the FO would handle radios anyway. I fully understand if this is not possible or not wanted, it's more of a use if you want to or turn off if you don't style feature. Apart from that I had a great time with my first full flight. There are some real nice little touches that you don't get from other ATC programs, like being welcomed to the airport you just landed at and the actual airport name is used. ATC saying good morning or afternoon depending on the time of day etc great stuff and adds a ton to the immersion for me. This sort of thing could easily be expanded on to. I've heard ATC recording of ATC welcoming pilots with things like "Welcome to a wet and windy London City airport this evening" I've always been put off by text to speech for ATC in the past because of the was it sounds quite robotic, or it did years ago when I used it last. It's come on such a long way in a few short years and I now see the reason behind using it. It takes away the rigid style of pre-recorded chatter and opens up a whole new avenue for communication. Text being converted into speech means the things that ATC can say is practically endless. I salute Dave and co for making this, For a long time I assumed ATC had got as far as it could go with FSX but this piece of software has proven that completely wrong. I know it's still in BETA but it's already shaping up to be one of the best FSX purchases I've ever made. It's up there with Active sky and the Majestic Q400 for me. Bloody fantastic Sir, my hat is off to you.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the info. I think it's downloading now. I'll let you know if it sorts out the issue.
