  1. These airliners will be even more fun with BeyondATC, which will hopefully come out in 2024 as well...
  2. Thanks, hadn't quite considered it could be the livery since it was working before. But it looks like it needs updating.
  3. After the latest update (V2.0.0.392), the cockpit and cabin do not load anymore for me: Any ideas? I have already run the installer again, but to no avail.
  4. I am actually surprised they have apparently been given the go-ahead by Boeing
  5. I hope it's just the video/post editing, but these cockpit texture look underwhelming... also compared to the NG3. Great that the MAX is finally on the horizon, though.
  6. Isn't it in beta yet? It seems they are close. They probably wouldn't release pricing information if they were far out at this point in time.
  7. This tool is shaping up to be the release of the year... I'm so stoked
  8. It's a bit of a dig at FSLabs and probably very much intended that they made it SO easy to use their announcements... 😄 Basically stopped short of simply having to copy and paste them. I bet they are not pleased.
  9. I hope they preview some more stuff soon, like AI interaction, flight guidance, etc. Don't care too much the price honestly, I finally want good ATC.
  10. Can confirm from the various JustPlanes videos I have. They're a few years old, though.
  11. Two things I'm surprised were not fixed: -old ADIRS panel on the overhead -FCU SPD, HDG not showing dashed (with no dot next to it) when no data is inserted in the MCDU but FD on, VS always showing dashed even when FDs are off. Other than that, I like it *very* much.
  12. Unfortunately it's just a computer voice from a text to speech program. Not realistic: There are almost no automatic announcements on the Lufthansa A320 fleet, except for the message that the inflight internet is now available. I would recommend using the recordings from FSL airline pack (if you have access to it by having purchased their A320). I have made some high quality recordings myself with my Tascam DR-05X, which I could convert to the .ogg format, if anyone is interested.
  13. Surely not a coincidence they also went with the .ogg file type 😅
  14. Yes, exactly, less 'jagged' so to speak. I shall try that.
  15. Is there any trick to achieve smooth-looking displays? I am using 4K resolution, TAA, and ~60 zoom level in FSRealistic. This what it looks like, not very satisfactory: When I zoom in, it's perfectly alright. Other than that, I am very impressed.
  16. That looks juicy… We urgently need a Simbrief layout for SAS and Jetstar.
  17. I find myself constantly adjusting the brightness of the displays on both the Fenix A320 and the FBW A320. PMDG 737, not so much. So maybe an Airbus thing? (Doubt it, though)
  18. 'Non-standard' is not the same as 'forbidden' or 'impossible'
  19. Can confirm. Many airlines keep both packs on until just before departure, then turn both packs off for take-off. Pack 2 comes back on upon thrust reduction, pack 1 when selecting flaps zero. They should not be turned on again simultaneously. It should be noted that a pack off departure is non-standard according to Airbus philosophy.
  20. Had decided to take a day off from work on Friday already some time ago, how prescient that decision turned out to be. SAS all the way for me.
  21. Indeed, it's high time to put the spotlight on the core features of this software. I'd like to see a full flight between two busy airports with lots of AI aircraft. What they have shown so far looks promising enough, but were usually separate bits of the whole thing.
  22. It doesn't have to be perfect. For truly mountainous airports (like Innsbruck or Aspen), you can always realistically fly the published procedures; I can't imagine vectors (to final) are a thing there, for obvious reasons. Also, consider where we are a right now in terms of ATC in MSFS: It isn't even capable of doing the most basic vectoring. Which is a step back from FS9 (or perhaps even FS8?). The bar has always been crazy low and has been lowered further. So BATC doesn't have to be revolutionary good (it may well be, though) to bring about major improvements to the experience.
