  1. They got a grant from the German government of almost half a million Euros to develop both an A321NEO and A330NEO. This is for real. https://www.bmwk.de/Redaktion/DE/Artikel/Wirtschaft/Games/Games-Projekte/airbusneo.html
  2. Allow me to add to that list: JustFlight Fokker 70/100 and inibuilds A300. Maybe not in the "next few months" but probably not much longer than that either.
  3. I really like the new screens and fonts, they look a lot more realistic now. It will be interesting to see what FSL does. Maybe they will skip the CEO variants for MSFS altogether and focus on the NEO ones, which we know are in development, and the A330, which is rumoured to be have been worked on for quite some time? They may also have an edge in some areas (FBW implementation, for example) that diehard Airbus sim pilots might honor. Or some other ace up their sleeves. This competition will only be good for us, the customers.
  4. I'd say we're lucky if we get the EFB this year and maybe some fixes for the 737 (engine spool-up, LNAV roll behavior, etc.) The 777 very much appears to be under active development and given PMDG's track record, it seems very unlikely they can wrap this up in just a few months time.
  5. It will therefore be preciously easy to do without the Aerosoft A330.
  6. What I'm disappointed about is not the lack of the EFB as such, because let's face it, every physical tablet is miles ahead of its digital counterpart. Nor am I disappointed that I continue to have to change settings in the CDU, that works well enough. Charts can be display either in the Navigraph app or within the sim. The one area where the EFB is really needed for flying is performance calculation. Yes, there are some third-party tools, but not all of them work equally well for all variants. And this is where PMDG should have long provided another solution. I'd be happy with a little tool that I can run in the background. Or maybe they should have used to their resources to develop some kind of ACARS performance request (much like FSL did) within the CDU/FMS. But honestly I'm not sure if they even have the capability for that any more...
  7. As much as I enjoy their products in P3D, I have little sympathy for their secrecy in regards to future developments for MSFS. Why can‘t they simply say what they are developing and in what timeframe? I mean PMDG has had the 737 released for more than a year now…
  8. Unfortunately proof that they must be making a killing with MSFS products. Still regret buying the CRJ. Talk about windfall profits.
  9. Really wonder why they wouldn‘t port their 717 over to MSFS first, like Leonardo or PMDG did with their respective line-up…
  10. That‘s some dedication there! 👍🏻
  11. I would be bummed but nonetheless excited if it turned out to be already-announced A300. Especially in light of the newly-released Ontario scenery with its many cargo operations. If it‘s a 767, I will be absolutely thrilled to the point of exhilaration. Thinking back to my FS9 days, there‘s not an aircraft that I miss more than the Level-D 767. And I have no doubt ini will do a great job regardless of what aircraft they‘re developing.
  12. Exactly this... MSFS is still very much a work in progress. Hugely enjoyable already but lots of issues, too. Is it going to be abandoned when MSFS 2024 hits?
  13. A "brand-new simulator" with "the significantly evolved Asobo Studio engine" according the announcement. Now what that means for backward compatibility is anyone's guess at this point...
  14. Why make a new sim when the "old" one (three years?) still needs so many improvements and fixes? This is going to be a major mess.
  15. So where's ini with that Airbus A300? Or PMDG with the 747-8F? Or whoever with a 757/767F? Lovely scenery at any rate!
  16. I had been waiting for this... for my TrueEarth Florida in P3D 🤣
  17. I am not excited for the EFB as such (my bog-standard iPad is a million times better and more realistic) but to be able to finally compute performance properly especially for the -600, -700 and -900 variants will be a welcome addition. (For the -800 I use the payware VPT which is likely the most sophisticated tool there is.)
  18. I can vouch for that too, had an issue with another scenery and he sent me a fixed file specifically created for me at the time within hours... absolute world class
  19. One of my favorites. Will install this again for sure when I get my new rig.
  20. Would be funny if he just reposted one of his earlier updates. Doubt anyone would notice
  21. I‘d rather pay 100 bucks for a real high-quality aircraft than a tenth of it for some half-baked stuff with bugs and missing features…
  22. This will be great for short evening flights in places like Brazil, the Caribbean, or Indonesia.
  23. I wanted a CRJ very bad, and went for the Aerosoft one, which I regret to this day...
