  1. Air Austral registration F-OLRA
  2. Ryan, thanks a lot for your answer. Yes indeed, the center post could apppear a 'bit' white when exposed to exterior light, but it is exactly using the same color as the cockpit panels. Here is a picture I took from an Air France B773 cockpit few days ago at the maintenance. Cheers, Josh.
  3. Just a small comparison made by me to see how real and beautiful the PMDG 777 is :
  4. Nice to see you speaking french Robert ! I am french as well, I hope to fly your next beauty (777) in the french colors ! Merci Robert, merci beaucoup pour tout votre travail et votre passion. Josh.
  5. Robert just a small question for you, As I can see on the previews (and I suppose it is going to be fixed as it is early previews), the centerpost bar in between the 2 front cockpit windows is WHITE. Do you plan to correct this color ? Kind regards, Josh.
  6. Also if you start you descent miles after passing the TOD, for sure you'll be too high on the descent profile. An other technique is too stay on command VNAV and re-select a new higher speed into the MCP SPD window... VNAV is goind to pitch the aircraft down in order to reach the selected speed, and you'll regain you descent profile... Same when ATC wants you too increase you rate of climb due to traffic separation or whatever, they could ask you to reduce your speed --> VNAV will get the aircraft pitch up and your ROC FPM will increase.
  7. Nice news, waiting for an official update from PMDG guy's now !
  8. First of all with the release of the B777LR I will be based in Réunion Island for Air Austral routes from Saint-Denis Roland Garros airport to Paris CDG, Sydney, Bangkok, Dzaoudzi... And when they release the B773, probably flying for Air France from Charles de Gaulle Base, all around the world ! Nice program, I am looking forward to it !
  9. Yes indeed "Let the previews begin" last July"... but since then, no previews at all.. except the 2 images from the virtual cockpit ! I don't really know what to expect in fact. I remember that for the NGX we had plenty of nice previews, almost 1 time a week..
  10. Looks nice ! BUT still no 777 insight from PMDG.... They told they will post new pictures in the next coming days, but I see nothing around on the forum. No major announcements, nothing really usefull.

    777 blown tire

Would be a very good and realistic feature even if only shown on EICAS !
  12. Hi Guy's, It seems that you're wondering how the taxi camera could be done for the PMDG 777.... Well you should remember that the VRS F-18 Tac Pack already has a great great great camera (night vision as well) ! If the VRSimulation guy's can develop such a great thing, I am sure PMDG guy's can work it out as well ! B) Here is a link (look at the right screen, you can see the outside ) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exmWn-7AyfE Cheers.
  13. Happy that we could raise so much Money for the surgery !!!! That's a really good thing. By the way still no news of the B777 PMDG... except the famous 3 pictures... strange ? they say from the previous post that they will release pictures in the next coming days. Anyway let's wait a bit more.
  14. Thanks for the link ! It's nice to hear from Robert Randazzo.
  15. Don't start with good or wrong things on the pictures !!!! it's still in BETA, so please keep these comments for yourself...
  16. Very nice and impressive cockpit pictures ! Just to know, do you think Robert S. Randazzo will do an official thread about these pictures ? I am happy about the 14000 dollars to help for the surgery ! It's a very good thing !
  17. Indeed, 6 - 10 hours would be a good choice, when flying from EU to US for example...
  18. Air Austral 772LR Paris CDG to Reunion Island !
  19. The height is called Screen Height or TCH (Threshold crossing height) and is standard at 50FT execept published on the approach chart... Cheers.
  20. SO here we go, not a huge change, but more amplification and removed click sound at the beginning... http://www.mediafire.com/?m5rh5zoxs3et09p
  21. Okay Steve, i use your file to do a new TOGA sound... Before posting this file, i need to know if it's okay for you because it is your original file. Cheers. Josh.
  22. Thanks Steve ! in fact looking again at the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=I-z2JAhMSVI#!) at 0:29 what we can hear is : 2 clicks (from the TOGA black pushbutton) and then the sound of the actuator... Cheers.
  23. Hey Steve, Just tested the TOGA sound ! it works very well on the NGX, however it seems that there is something wrong, compared to the video provided by me on this thread. There is like a little "detonation" just before the sound of the actuator, i mean a little "douuuummm" just a the beginning.... i am not so good in english so i don't really know which vocabulary i could use to explain it... Anyway i think to get something better, this little sound at the first milliseconds should be removed. Also the rest of the sound file should be amplified. Cheers Steve, Josh.
  24. Keep in touch ! i look forward to check it tomorrow, and i am already convinced that it will add more and more reality to the NGX ! again very nice work Dude ! cheers. Josh.
