  1. Go into fuel and payload and reduce the fuel to about 30000 lbs split between the wing tanks. When you land make sure you are using either flaps 25 or 30 and your airspeed should be about 150 kts give or take.
  2. Sorry to respond so late. I was using FlyTampa Dubai.
  3. Alright, time to report on performance during my flight. If ever I was looking for a flight with an OOM, this was it. 14 hours from Dubai to Seattle in a PMDG 777-300ER flown real-time in P3D. I disabled PNW pending a final patch from T2G, but I did have Global+Vector enabled (as of today T2G has apparently been in contact with ORBX to make SEA fully compatible with PNW. See http://www.iflysimx.com/topic/1154-compatibility-with-orbx-pnw/page-2). I had 40% traffic, cloud shadows, scenery nearly all fully to the right, ASN running with overcast skies. I turned on autosave in FSUIPC anticipating an OOM as I started my descent... But the OOM never came! I don't even think I got a single ding warning me of one! My system is nearly 3 years old with 8GB of RAM, a i5-2500K overclocked to 4.5 GHz, and a GTX 570. OOMs are no foreign thing to my computer, but I was shocked to see Seattle perform so well. Frames hovered in the high teens and low 20s, but it was by no means a slide show. All-in-all I am impressed with what T2G has done with my home airport. There are still a couple wrinkles that need ironing out in terms of its compatibility with ORBX, but this is a top rate scenery!
  4. They don't use standard thrust derate values but I believe they still use assumed temperature to do reduced thrust takeoffs.
  5. I am consistently impressed with Flightbeam sceneries. I would place them as the leading scenery developer for FS. Buy it! Performance is amazing for the amount of detail and accuracy they give you.
  6. For some reason I'm not able to view the video, but from the sound of it you are describing Ezdok Camera. It's a great program and I highly recommend it! http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=ezdockcam
  7. Never mind then haha! At one point I thought they said their secret project was in Asia, but looking at the latest on their forum, you are right!
  8. KSEA! We haven't had a good rendition of the airport since Flytampa in 2005. A lot has changed in Seattle since then. I also see a number of people in favor of WSSS. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is Flightbeam's secret Asian project.
  9. I'd love to see an MD-80 too, but I don't think we'll see it from PMDG. However, Leonardo is looking to do a brand new MD-80 http://www.flythemaddog.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9426
  10. My last go-around was about 2 weeks ago in Boston. Visibility was 1.5 miles and I was on the ILS for 22L planning to do an autoland. When I broke out of the clouds I was significantly offset from the runway centerline even though my instruments showed me on glideslope and on centerline. Turned out to be an issue with the FSX ILS possition. I didn't fly the whole missed approach proceedure, instead I stayed in the pattern and flew the approach again, this time disconnecting the autopilot when I had a visual on the runway and manually correcting the approach.
  11. Very cool! Interesting to see the center wheels on the boogie be the last to touchdown.

Here's the news in your flavor: http://www.cnn.com/2013/06/19/us/twa-crash-claim/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 The fact of the matter is that this crash wasn't cut and dry like most other air disasters. If there is strong enough evidence to reconsider the cause of the crash then I think it is a good thing to take a second look at the investigation.
  13. KSEA is on the FSDT radar for next year. See Virtuali's comments in this thread: http://www.fsdreamteam.com/forum/index.php?topic=8531.15

I love the picture of the crew with the aircraft in this article. They all look like a bunch of happy campers after a pretty eventful flight. Well done!
  15. You may be right, but from what I could tell they did a pretty good job at maintaining a safe speed and nothing struck me as downright dangerous from the video. But at the end of the day I'm just an armchair pilot, so I'm always going to give the licensed pilot the benefit of the doubt.
