Carmine, As well as being a flight simmer I'm also into race cars and that is just as big as flight sims. Have you considered a concept along the lines of "World of Mass Developement" and their products "pCars"? People bought into it, and they deliver a beta product to us on a regular basis, they raised a lot of funds that way and the product is very good. The more I use X-Plane 10 the more I like it, the airport scenery market and freeware is limited and I say it's time for companies to start looking at offering us products for purchase. Personally I have sent out a few emails to well known companies out there asking for it, I say everyone should do the same, BRING US THE ADD-ONS!!! Unless XPX is coming out with something more as far as ATC goes, we also need a company like Radar Contact to start thinking of us, my credit card is ready for such a product.

In any form of forums it's always like that, XP vs FSX, rfactor vs Iracing, Intel vs AMD, ATI vs Nvidia, GM vs Toyota and on and on....... Somehow humans have to do this, seems we're a very insecure species.

I think FSX has a lot of eye candy, should have been the killer sim of all times. In 2013 with incredible PC's we are still trying to get it to run right, how many post on the internet backs up what I just said?

Nobody, but with your comment "the main issue I find in XPX is the lack of good aircrafts with great VC" you make it sound like there is nothing for XP. Dont get me wrong I'm not a "######" of either, I really like XP and FS9, and I have both good and bad payware.

But I have also bought bad aircrafts from others as well, regardless of the sim, my Carenado B58 for XP is awesome.

I've been runnning FS9 for years with tons of add-ons and it's great, most of all very stable on my powerful PC with multi-monitor arrangement. I just got XP10 this week and I absolutely love it, yes it lacks in some areas, but the stability of the program is what matters most to me, graphics are great with very good frame rate. I love the physics as well, taking off,flying and landing in weather. So now I have 2 stable sims to fly with, there is a bright future for XP I'm sure of it, companies are coming on board and that is what is going to change things. I applaud Carenado, just got the Baron 58 and it's very well done up. Lastly XP actually have live support for its product and pretty darn good at that.

I have been experimenting with XP9 while I wait for XP10-64 to come in the mail, and I'm becoming a fan. I hear there's a big difference between the two, cant wait. I will use 2 copies and a 2 PC arrangement. Nice pics!!

I wish on you this never happens. But I have a question, let's say yourself and others like you are faced with such a terrible thing and that in the middle of all this commotion an innocent person is shot!! I mean the theater would be hell with people running all over, pilling up in semi dark conditions. I see an incredible risk here.

I'm Canadian and this is difficult for us to get our heads around that. Our countries are so similar in culture but yet so different on this issue.

Nice, so what do I need to do if I want to run this with multiple screens? ie. 3 monitors for the wind screen and 2 for the instruments. This is how I run right now with FS2004, 2 video cards, 1 with eyefinity for the 3 monitors and a smaller card for the other 2. Thanks

Before going to far with this, please check all USB ports and make sure there is no damage to any of them, ie. 2 pins touching!!! I ran into this and replace a mobo for nothing. Good luck

Good evening, I'm rebuilding my sim, it's based on FS9 and I use a very good PC presently giving me good framerates 100s+. I want to design my sim with 4 monitors acting as my wind screen, the ones a the ends angled 45 degrees, and 2 monitors in front of me for the instruments. I have a 6970 video card that can accomodate a total of 6 monitors, can I create an eyefinity group with 4 monitors and the others seperate/independant? will I incur a big impact on framerates? is there a better solutions? Thanks

I share your pain, I've all but given up. I have a powerful computer and it does not run any better than the days of my piece of garbage Athlon 850 years ago.

Just Flight has a Dash8-300 which I think is very nice. I think it was made by PSS.

A definite purchase for me, but only if it's FS9.

Do we still need multiple copies of XPX and PC's to obtain detachable views as in FS9/FSX? I have that requirement, the sky(projector), the instruments(multiple screens). Then other PC's for weather, ATC and other add-ons.

P3D is not on my system either, and neither is FSX and because it's such a headache for me that I wont buy any FSX add-ons. I have a powerful machine and it has solved very little. FS9 and all my add-ons provide me all the fun I need, I'm very thrilled to see companies like Carenado and others still working for us.
