  1. ISSUE RESOLVED !!! ---------------------------- ScottFlieger, Your earlier remark if I have any other PMDG 747's loaded got me to think. Even though I no longer have the previous version of the PMDG 747 installed, I did still have the module in Linda. Despite the fact that the names for both modules were different, I decided to remove the old module and gave it another try. And voila, now the switches are moving in the sim. I do see a red linda message when a flight loads, but then it changes to "Linda is ready". As the red message only shows for a few seconds I have not been able to identify what it states. But most important is that me assignments in Linda now result in actions in the sim. Now it is time to start assigning some more switches Thank you for a great product and ditto support. Manfred
  2. I am using the version I downloaded 2/25. I will upload the one from yesterday and give that a try. I will send you a screen shot of the edit module dialog and logging on both GUI and LUA (even though I think that is what I am already doing). Will get back with you asap.
  3. It is correct that not all buttons I pressed have actions assigned, I assigned several, and then noticed nothing was happening in the sim, so I focused on the landing and taxi lights before I even bother with the other assignments. But if you need me to, I can certainly get you a log file with more assigned switches tested. . And I do remember seeing the red error message in the Lua Console regarding line 331 for LNAV. Not sure if that is in any way related to the main issue. I will check back in tomorrow afternoon
  4. Yes I do. And I even tried the reload the LUA engine. The console also recognizes the aircraft selected. And I just emailed you the log file.
  5. Hello, I am having issues with Linda and the recently released PMDG 747 QOS V3. I am using the beta module for this aircraft and have assigned several switches. When the switches are toggled on or off, Linda shows the action assigned, but nothing happens in the sim. Also any switch or button action in the sim does not show anything in Linda Console or Tracer. It looks as if Linda is communicating with FSX, but not with the aircraft. This is happening in FSX Boxed as well as FSX SE. I am using te latest version of LINDA, PMDG 747 module, as well as the most up to date version of FSUIPC. BTW: LINDA is working fine for all other aircraft, including the PMDG 737NGX. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
  6. Have been getting the same eror message. Never had to make changes to my FSUIPC.ini file to make linda work, but will have a look at that.
  7. Oh boy....KLM. Looking forward to take that one in to TNCM
  8. Made my purchase late last night using PayPal with no problems at all. ALso download and install went smooth to both FSX and FSX SE.
  9. My navdata shows 1108 in the navdata folder. Why did it not install the 1701 or 1702?
  10. Just got home from work, and found this late night surprise. Downloading right now. (9 minutes left from 16) Guess will not he going to bed for a while. Thank you so much PMDG for providing us with another GEM!
  11. Hi Pierre, I have my switches configured for Manfred Jahn's C-47, but did not create a module. I used the Linda tracker to find the codes, and then set the assignments up. Let me know which specific assignments you are having problems with, and I can have a look at my assignments for you.
  12. Thanks for the module. Saves me a load of time, as I was already thinking when I would have the time to find the codes and configure all my switches.
  13. Hello, I have been using FSUIPC for years and have no issue with the NGX. As far as I know there is no speed or flex setting in FSUIPC, but you can always post a question in the FSUIPC support forum.
  14. Unless the title was just changed, Idon't see the confusion. The title is clearly a question, not a statement, And I have to agree, I have never seen PMDG participate in a Holiday sale, so I don't see them changing that now.
  15. Well, I decided to bite the bullet and buy XPlane 10 with the free upgrade to XPlane11. I I have to soo if I can get the DC-6B for Christmas
  16. Hello Neil, Just an FYI, I am actually using the GoFlight MCP with the PMDG 737NGX with no problems, using just the GoFlight software. Even the EFIS and 3 radio panels are working just fine. ======================== Kyle, I am glad to hear about the PMDG Sim Center
  17. True Robert, But spending $60 on XPlane and another $70 on the DC-6, knowing that I will want the FSX version when released as well, just doesn't sound like such a great deal to me.
  18. Wish I could say the same.... still waiting for the FSX version, as I don;t have XPlane
  19. Another very nice paint job, Don. Just added it to my hangar
  20. Thanks for the paint Ron, Downloaded and will take it for a spin in the morning, Jan, As usual another great cockpit. Looking forward to it
  21. Hey Alan, Doing great flying the C-47. Have not had a chance flying the Mallard yet, but did get some of the new paints.
  22. I use Plan-G, FS Commander, and Active Sky Next on a networked computer. Each has a manual that explains how to set that up. Just take the time to read, and you will be okay.
  23. Ron, I too am looking forward to that repaint
  24. I was lucky to be able to download the C-47. The Mallard will have to wait till the site recovers from the overload of visits and downloads. Over 700 downloads of the C-47 withing the first few hours after release, wow. Did make a quick flight, and it's amazing. I can actually adjust the mixture by just listening to the engines. It is a true piece of art. Sounds and cockpit are mind blowing, just to name some of the improvements. Compliments and gratitude to Manfred Jahn, Jan Visser and team.
