I hope the next update will bring a higher time acceleration. Now it’s only 2x, still way to slow for me when flying from a to b. Don’t have that much time 😆

Whats wrong with the “old” LNAV?

Not being able to use time ompression IS indeed a big problem!

Did you use “pause at top of decent” function in the pmdg configuration menu? If so this could be the cause. I had the same when my sim “froze”, turned out i had to unpause the sim because i was near TOD.

Is there any news on when managed decent/vnav gets implemented?

I cant install the update aswell. Tells me there is a mandatory update in the store, but once in the store i cant find an update for MS FS2020. The store tells me no updates are available, even after trieing to push an update. Can you tell me where the X-box app is? maybe that will work for me...

I'm having the same issue here... Will try the registry fix but not feeling really comfortable with this. Edit: I can confirm it worked for me as well

Guys, msfs IS awesome the moment earosoft published their first semi-complex airliner. For the first time in msfs Im now able to fly in a rather realistic manner a realistic airliner the way i was used to in p3d. There is no way i could go back to p3d let alone fsx. Think about it: we got the whole world to fly to in photorealistic detail, even all the default airports look almost like payware compared to p3d. And it can only become better in de next months/years from now as more developers publish airliners to fly in.

Is there a way to download the 4-season pack of this mod? So the mod where for example in June its summer in europe (green trees) and winter on the Southern Hemisphere (brown trees)? I cant find this mod anymore, only the single season mod. Michiel

Did you engage the vnav button on the autopilot panel? Usually “path” on the pfd can be seen when the plane is decending on vnav. Looking at your pic i think i can see a green light right of the vnav button so that indicates vnav is selected. If you want to control the plane using v/s you’ll have to disengage vnav first.

No youre not crazy! There is a vnav button on the mcp, but you have to select that option (coupled vnav) in the option menu in the efb first. When you select vnav on top of decent the autopilot wil automatically follow the decent profile only. Not the speed or any of the speed restrictions, the crj has no autothrottle you know 😉 It works pretty good, only when intercepting the ils glidescope and changing from vnav decent to approach mode on the autopilot it sometimes doesn’t follwo the gildescope and starts a climb...

I think Aivlasoft EFB V2 comes a loung way! Moving map, navigraph like sid/star/approach generated charts and weather info to name a few. And its continuously improving. Really wordt checking out.

Hi, I had the same issue. check your graphic settings. There should be a setting “terrain level detail” or something, set it to 200. That solved the problem for me.
