  1. Personally I would rather have a C90 over a 350. The C90 is a very popular King Air and a delight to fly. The 350 is a good plane too but it is more like a corporate/charter aircraft. Really, the aircraft I am looking forward to more than the C90 is T210. My father owns a 64 Model with the Strutted wings and even though the T210 is strutless it will still be closer to what I actually fly.
  2. Actually an Apache flys good on one engine. They just got a bad wrap because people would take off at gross weight, lose an engine, and the good engine wouldn't have enough power to hold level flight.
  3. I think the Aztec would be a wonderful twin for Carenado to make. I would also like to see them do maybe an early model 310 Cessna with the straight tail.
  4. Ok got both of them installed. Booted up the plane and now I am getting this.ok heres the pic
  5. Bert,Thank You So Much!!! Now I know how to install it. Ill make another post once i get it working.
  6. Hey guys. I just purchased the Reality Xp GNS 430 Waas and the WXP 500 weather radar and would like to know how to install them into my virtual cockpit on the carenado mooney. I have no idea what I am doing so if someone can help me and get me on track it would be appreciated..
  7. Something else you are all forgetting. What does carenado base their model off of? A real plane they have access to. Somethings might be different on a Chilean 340 than on an American 340 Im just saying. I have seen twin cessnas with the rotating beacon on top of the Vertical Stab and on the belly so I would say dont worry about it. As for the panel color like I said all airplanes arent the same especially those that are 30+ years old.
  8. You know I hate saying this but I expect there will be bugs with it. Its Unfortunate to say that but its almost a carenado tradition now.
  9. I expect it will be out tomorrow or Tuesday of next week. Carenado always releases planes on a tuesday
  10. Hi Mitch,The Bonanza is equipped with a constant speed propeller which in terms means that you control power output with the manifold pressure and propeller rpms with the propeller pitch control. Heres some good tips when you are flying your bonanza. After takeoff First reduce your power to 25 INS Manifold Pressure and then reduce the propeller to 2,500 rpms. Once you are in cruise, go ahead and reduce manifold pressure to 22 INS and 2,300 rpms, that gives you the best endurance and cruise speed in the bonanza. Now remember, and this is the way real world pilots do it. When you want to reduce power reduce manifold pressure first and then prop. When you want to add power increase prop and then increase throttle that way you dont put a load on the engine by having the manifold pressure higher than rpms. I know its alot to comprehend but thats complex aircraft 101 for you.

  12. I already see a flaw. If you look at http://www.carenado.com/ecommerce/Incomings/C340/5.jpg you'll notice on the right side of the panel above the weather radar, just like in the V-Tail Bonanza the transponder is being overlayed by something that appears to be an old KLN 89 GPS. Looks like a great aircraft but that really needs to be fixed before you release the product.
  13. Hi Everybody,I am looking for anyone who is interested in learning how to fly on FSX the proper way. I have my own server that I do flight instruction for new pilots in FSX. We use the default 172 or the Carenado 152, 172, and PA28.I have one student already but would like to have more so if you are interested in joining please let me know. Thanks
  14. UHHH what does this all have to do with carenado leaving problems unfixed lol
  15. I have also noticed this. When you shut the Master Avionics Switch off it turns off the GPS,ADF and I think the ADF. But Leaves the KX-170B and KX-155 running. Very strange indeed.
  16. Just learned with a friend that the caravan is not shared cockpit compatible. I have owned a bunch of carenado aircraft in the past that were but I guess the caravan is so complex that you just cant do shared cockpit with it oh well. I hope maybe carenado will get a fix for this.
  17. Im hoping maybe they will do an older mooney. Like an M20C E or an F that would be great.
  18. Man I hope she comes out today, ive been waiting a long time for this one.
  19. Glad I could help. Yes I am a real world pilot, my Dad and I had an old 50s bonanza before we bought the mooney we currently own.
  20. Not exactly, pretty much all low wings like the bonanza either run on the left or right tanks, not on both. Ive noticed like you said that when you start the airplane running in the sim it puts the valve on off but it simulates it running on both and if you turn the selector to the right or left tanks and back to off it shuts off the fuel. So carenado did it right. If you are having problems keeping the aircraft balanced when running it on the left or right tank try running it on one tank for an hour and switch to the other and run it for an hour. That way it keeps both tanks nice and balanced. Anyhow I hope this helps you out.
  21. WOW!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait for it to come out. Count me as a Caravan buyer as well
  22. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! now the bonanza will be complete :(
  23. Yeah im having the same problem. It seems that when your turn the avionics switch off it does nothing. Very odd.
