Real Weather .... Is that working for anyone?
Bsal replied to Spike1950's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Of course they know about 99% of the problems, this is a paid beta because that's just the way the industry is nowadays. Eventually the bugs will slowly be fixed. Realistically MSFS shouldn't have been released for another year I'm guessing. -
I'd like to see them add when you mouse over an airport symbol on the world map that the metar and TAF pop up, currently it only shows the wind info.

Aerosoft Airbus a320 Unrealistic Cruise Speed
Bsal replied to EuroTruckGuy's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
290 is the indicated airspeed (IAS) found on the speedtape on the primary flight display, true airspeed (TAS) which is found on the upper left of the nav display is used for cruise speed/flightplanning. Mach number may also be used as cruise speed and for the A320 is normally around M0.78. -

Thanks for the kind words Tony, Lion airlines operate the 737 on this route you will be happy to know and yes it is a great little route with nice views out the window and usually the odd cumulonimbus to negotiate along the way keeps you on your toes. Happy new year! Regards Brian

PROC A+B are now replaced with NADP's, for example at Easyjet they use NADP2 and 1000ftAGL for both thrust reduction and acceleration altitudes. Keep in mind the 800ftAGL for thrust reduction is just the minimum value allowed in NADP2 but it doesn't have to be that low.
-
It really depends on the airline and SOP, but most use NADP2 unless NADP1 is stated on the chart.
