FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted has been released... Looks like it has a Prepar3d Installer. More good news, it looks amazing as always with their scenery. http://www.flytampa.org/omdb.html

Sorry if this has already been posted (I couldn't see it) but FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted has been released... It's for FSX, P3D and FS2004. http://www.flytampa.org/omdb.html

Have any of you tried this? (SweetFX)

Has anyone managed to get Prepar3d to run with this mod? -
REX has textures for wet runways and taxiways... I think there are 3 to choose from. As with everything from REX they look great. As for the more realistic rain effects I don't think so. FS2004 used to have raindrops on the windows whilst in the VC but it was excluded from FSX.

Haha, I thought it was just me! I was doing that yesterday!
-
Me too, I'm not bothered if streets aren't in the right place etc. Also, as someone said earlier. They seem to update their scenery fairly often. Maybe people should make themselves use a vanilla FSX for a month and then see how they feel about it...
-
I can't wait for this, I haven't been this eager for a new product since the NGX...
-
I don't even notice the Academic Watermark... Also make sure you get the FSX to Prepar3d Migrator tool. It makes life so much easier...

I used this guide to get my system running right: ##### I think your graphics cards are slowing you down though.

Hi Joshua, Thanks so much for responding. It's great that we get chance to talk to developers directly. I think I understand what you mean, I work in stage lighting and we sometimes double up our data channels to our robotic lights so we can get more bandwidth across a certain parameter. Thanks again and good luck with the release... Chris

Maybe someone who is involved with the development of the Aerosoft Airbus can help me? I've been following the development of this add on and would love to buy it but I think I'm right in saying that you must have a hardware throttle? I use an Xbox 360 controller at the moment and it works just fine for my NGX etc. Is it true that I won't be able to use it for the A320? If so, can you explain why? I'm not complaining, I'd just like to understand the processes that you've used that make the throttle different. Thanks in advance...

That's great news about the FSLabs possible A330/A340. Have they mentioned an A380?
-
Does anyone know if there are any developers working on a good Airbus A380 or A340 for FSX/Prepar3d? I tried the Wilco ones but after the NGX they don't feel up to scratch really... I know that Aerodoft are about to release the A320 but there's something about the A380 and the A340 that feels special to me...

I use the options in the FMC to turn off the First Officers screens. I hide the yokes by clicking on them too. I also run analogue back up gauges rather than the digital ones. Not sure if that last one makes much difference though...

A few more ORBX England pic's posted

I didn't even know they were doing this until today. It looks great! I'll be buying... Not too concerned about the trans Atlantic switching thing. I only fly in Europe really. The switching and restarting the Sim must be a big problem for people IVAO and Vatsim though? -
How can I view the Flight Deck with my mouse?
chris512 replied to cliffardus's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I use Ezdok to do that. Holding down the mouse wheel lets you look around the cockpit. -

Have you managed to get the ENB Mod to work? It's the only thing I can't use the Migrator for... -
Thanks Jim, I have crash detection switched off anyway for when I'm on IVAO so it's not the end of the world. Think I might give it a go now.
-
Hi Jim, Thanks for the answers. It's ok that's it's only random chatter but does the program know where the UT2 traffic is and only vector you into the final when it knows you're clear or do you end up too close to other aircraft etc? What Real ATC did you get? Have you got a link? I only really fly in Europe at the moment but I'd like to have a look...
-
I just watched the videos they have on their website. It looks pretty good. I have 2 questions though... 1) Has anyone tried this with Prepar3d? 2) The ATC chatter sounds great but are they talking to actual UT2 traffic or is it just random sound effects?
-
I think it's from when they did the Redbull Air Race...
-
I use Prepar3d but I can see why you like using your FSX with DX10. The vids are great. The Miami scenery looks fantastic and it's all very smooth. Shadowing is very pretty. I hope this is a glimpse of what we might get with P3D 2.0...
-
With the current state of P3D what made you decide to jump in?
chris512 replied to Noel's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
No issues for me. I use the FSX to Prepar3D Migration tool from Simmarket. P3D v1.4 is super smooth. I have REXe, GEX, UTX, UT2, PMDG 737NGX UK2000 Airports etc. All works brilliantly. Way smoother than FSX. Hasn't crashed on me once. The Migration tool makes installing my add-ons very easy. -
Yep, I bought the FSX to Prepar3d Migration tool.
