Autoland is great when you have poor FSX performance. Try hand landing with 10FPS slidieshow :D. Otherwise full on manual!

Came across this issue few times. Always double check airport charts with what FMC says.

It's normal. It should change to SPEED and then you should also move MCP speed dial knob to your VREF +5kts (depending on the wind) speed. If you are having trouble understanding autoland logic, you should ask Boeing. The autoland procedure provided in NGX Tutorial 1 is exactly how most of us do it.

At least once a month. As for official PMDG stance, it's "they are not doing it". Basically you just add some more weight and you've got your extra seats.

^^^Read the first tutorial provided by PMDG! On CDU there's a button, the very first one "INT/REF". Click on it and page will display where on the right side you'll find final approach flap+speed configurations.

If only he arrives with his own NGX ;). Reading some of the post made me wonder how much time I've put into NGX. Even though I bought it a few months later I still think I've managed to put 400-500 hours of my life. And I have no regrets! The only thing which now bothers me is that I'm going away for a month and won't be able to play FSX... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think I'll be getting T7 though. Not a big fan of long haul trips even though T7 is in my "top 5 of favorite aircraft". Fingers crossed for PMDG to develop DHC 8 Q400.

Will have to pack some extra fuel to fly over the pond. Oh wait, I'm gonna be light, no need for extra yums for my NGX.
