I always thought 32 gigs of ram would be overkill. I’m running a 7800k and a 2080ti but only 16 gigs of ram. I’ll go down to the store right now and throw in another 16 gigs if it would get me in.

Guys, I had a question regarding the elevator droop: Parked on the ramp, I shut down the hydros, left to right, but the elevators are still centered after a while. The flaperons and rudder have released pressure and loosened up. The 3 hydraulic systems show 50psi each. Is there a check valve for the elevators that keep them aligned in the event of hyd pressure loss? Did I shut the system down wrong? Am I just impatient and need to wait longer? I skimmed the books but couldn't find much about it. Thanks

I set the trim sliders to max repeat intervals. If I need lots of trim, I just hold the button. If I need just a touch of trim, I tap it real quick.

In the introduction manual for the 777, PMDG recommends turning off the head bobbing option in the FSX options for this reason.

... Yes I noticed. I moved the EZDOK camera all the way outside the VC and looked back.I remember reading in the introduction or somewhere that the strobes are visible from the VC. I'm talking about seeing the strobe flash off the ground. Not the actual light itself on the wingtip.

My taxi and landing lights illuminate the ground infront of me but the strobes dont seem to be visible from the VC. In Exterior shots they show up. Anybody else have this happen?

I had this happening to me as well. The prolem for me was that I had the map displayed on the lower EICAS when switching to plan mode. Just don't use the map on the lower EICAS and you'll be fine. Ryan is aware of it and It'll be fixed soon.
