The coolest little airport, Locher Sarentino
John Fields replied to Waldo Pepper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, WU IX Italy and Malta has broken part of the free Locher Sarentino airfield (the path that leads from the runway to the parking). Do you know if there is any chance to get an updated or a patch for this formidable scenery? Thank you -
Hi, I wonder if the Top Gun Maverick screens are used by Asobo to cover up the lack of success of WU IX Italy and Malta. Greetings

Hi, After thinking about it a lot and remembering the type of flights I usually do (medium or small regional airports and strip airfields in which I don't see many cities), I have decided to disable the photogrammetry option, for now. I have more frames and the ambient light seems to have changed for the better. Greetings

Hi, I would like it to be possible for the user to disable the photogrammetry of certain cities (vegetation included). Thus, for example, Valencia or Seville are good in PG, but other cities and areas are a real disaster. Greetings

WU9 Italy & Malta Update
John Fields replied to CFIJose's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Yes, for me, Italy and Malta has been a disappointing update. First, there are few quality new airports, and second, photogrammetry is a disaster. I hope Asobo will fix the bugs and makes things better from now on, even if it takes longer to serve updates. Greetings. -
Yes, Bert. I'm afraid you're right! Regards

Hi, Thank you for your very detailed and clear explanation. It's a great possibility for saving space in a disk. I'll try it when my SSD is fuller (the other solution is to buy another SSD with greater capacity, of course!). Regards

Hi, I've been using your Add-on-Linker since day one. It's great and, for me, it's the only way to have scenery and aircraft in a separate external disc (a rather big and fast one), and activate when I need. But now I realize that, perhaps, the advantage could be even greater if I move Asobo scenarios and planes that I barely use (or that conflict with other payware or freeware add-ons) to this external drive. By doing this, I could save space on my SSD drive where I have MSFS installed. Is this possible? What should I do then? Delete them first with the add-on manager and then save the folders containing the planes and the scenarios as if they were scenarios not belonging to Asobo-Msfs? Pardon my English and thank you in advance.

WU IX - Italy/Malta due today 17MAY22

Hi, I would really prefer it if they took more time to finish and offer the updates, so that they were better done! Regards. -
WU IX - Italy/Malta due today 17MAY22
John Fields replied to DAD's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, there! I think I mitigate, just a little, the "melted" trees and buildings, activating the rolling cache. And, by the way, those huge trees! And where are the "Pini di Rome"? Regards -
WU IX - Italy/Malta due today 17MAY22
John Fields replied to DAD's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, everybody, I have Italy cities, specially Rome, with very melted vegetation and buildings. This is new, because that didn't happen to me before WU9. Also, I've experimented a substantial drop in frames (24-25 now, 27-29 before WU9) Any hints? Regards -

John Fields replied to Eclex's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, Is there any user manual or instruction document? I see some differences from the default G1000. For example, the map orientation, can you put the North up? Thank you. -
Poll: Significant problems after SU9 install?
John Fields replied to Noel's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, I don't have FlyTampa Boston and, since SU9, I'm having several random CTDs when I Exit to Main Menu. It must be some add-ons, besides FlyTampa Boston, I'm afraid. I use AddonLinker and I select just the areas that I want to fly, but I can't locate the add-ons that cause the issue. Cheers. -
Poll: Significant problems after SU9 install?
John Fields replied to Noel's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, Same here. Was the SU9 installing defective? I solved the issue resetting the application (not reinstalling). Cheers -
Lost performance after SU9 update.
John Fields replied to Wise87's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Hi, I’ve lost four or five fps in some places since SU9. What about deactivating all Photogrametry? Anyone has tried it? Regards. -
