  1. Definitely a Gulfstream. Looks like a GLF3 to me...
  2. Ummm..... NO WAYYY!! Ever heard of the...... TBM 900?! Now THAT'S SEXY! Cheers
  3. Hey guys, While on the topic of prop spinners, is it possible to use the prop spinner textures from the Caravan EX and have it work with the older Caravan in FSX? I use the older Caravan for bush work and freight runs and the prop spinner is a real eye sore compared to the EX. The spinner textures on the EX are off the hook! Thanks! Cheers.
  4. Hey Paul, I played around with the lift setting and at the moment, I figure I will play with the lift and drag scalars to tweak to my liking. Thanks a bunch. Seeing the lil bit of nose down with the new lift figure, I am excited all over agaiN about the Twotter. Cheers.
  5. Were you flying the final approach with a nose up attitude or nose down one? I figure to get into that short of a Rwy with no reversers and stop in half the rwy, you must've been dragging it in at about 50 knots and full flap. That config in the Extended equates to a nose up attitude or nose level attitude depending on weight. In the real world, you'd be staring down at the ground from a rather high perch, created by a significant nose down attitude. If you got both the Twotter X and the Extended, fly the same approach using both with the same weight and balance. Tell me what you see. Cheers
  6. True, Paul. Most frustrating when trying to get into St Barths or Saba or any Rwy just as short and I have to fly it like I fly my Majestic Q4. Usually end up using all the Rwy. Used to irk the crap outta me. Now it's just plain hilarious. The original Twotter X flies just perfectly like the real thing. Cheers.
  7. Hey guys, For what it's worth, the Extended is a masterpiece of flightsim engineering. It's just really lacking in flight characteristics. If Bernt Stolle or someone of his calibre had a go at an alternative FDE for it, it probably would be a marriage made in FSX heaven. I personally wish someone could take FDE and .air files from the Twotter X and merge it with the Extended. Awesomeness it would be... Cheers
  8. Hey Andy, You are very much correct. As a Twotter pilot, I find this bird flies very wrong, especially in takeoff and landing configurations. In the real bird, I'm flying a visual approach at flaps 20 and 76 knots and I'm flying with a serious nose down attitude. The original Twotter flies exactly like this. The Extended flies at that speed in a nose level attitude or a nose up one depending on landing weight. Flaps 10 on takeoff in the real bird if I'm lightly or moderately loaded, sees me off the ground at 60 knots. Flaps 20 and I basically "helicopter" off the ground (no rotation and the thing flies itself off the ground in a nose level attitude). Full flap landings and I can fly at 50 knots and below STILL WITH A SERIOUS NOSE DOWN ATTITUDE! To get her on the ground, pull the power off, wait for her to start sinking then flare her out. Drop on the numbers and stop 100 ft after that(with a nice headwind). Do not try that with the Extended. Thing wants to land like a 747. The original Twotter replicates that perfectly. My opinion, take the FDE of the original Twotter, adapt it to work with the Extended. I still fly the original Twotter. Have the extended but don't touch it. Going into St Barths with that...? Doable....but takes the whole runway.... Riiiiiight.... Ama stick with the original. Cheers.
  9. ATR 72-600! Yes. My point exactly. We need more commuter turboprops.
  10. I do. It's awesome. The first version was pretty buggy and my FPS dropped waaaay down. The second version came with a 1.5GB installer or something like that and it's superb now. Airport could've been done a bit better but it's the best out there IMHO. I'm hoping Zev will do St Vincent next. Its close by.
  11. What about turboprops?? We need more of those. Too much focus on turbofans these days with multiple companies doing the same plane over and over. Nobody wants turboprops?? I would very much pull out the credit card for an ATR 72-600. No hesitation. Saab 2000 or Dornier 228NG too!
  12. At least you got 'er on the ground safely but um.....dude.......I do not see your thrust reversers deployed in any of those shots....? Also, did you have autobrakes set to the max? Just wondering... M bad if you did the above. Awesome shots, though. Cheers.
  13. WHOOP THERE IT IS!!!! THANKS A MIL!!! Tried it in my sim and holy smokes! Smooth as silk and no fps hit! You the MAN!!! Cheers.
  14. WOWZA!! Nice shots, bro. Tell me, how did you get them aircraft lines sooo smooth???!!! I've been playing around with nVIDIA Inspector and my GTX 675M but with little to show for it. If you use the Inspector, can you please enlighten me as to your settings if you don't mind? Cheers.
  15. Holy crap, I just found it. I only had to search the whole forum library. Alright then. No worries. Thanks anyway. Looking forward to the revamped Q300 too. Cheers. P.S Liat's got ATRs coming on a line in a few months here. Interesting hey?
  16. Umm.. Kroswynd? Mr. Richardson, sir? A question from a southern caribbean simmer. Would it be possible for you and your company to add a LIAT livery to your release liveries for the Q400? I think that would boost your sales in this region. I know the livery would be fictional but I've spoken to a large body of simmers here and some real world pilots who say they would like to buy the Q4 but since they don't have any affiliation with simming outside the caribbean islands on a whole, it wouldn't be much fun for them. I tend to agree. It would be nice to island hop with a Q4 in LIAT livery from MDSD in the D.R. and follow all the real world routes all the way down to SYCJ in Guyana. If you guys do take us into consideration (and we do so hope you do), we thought the registration V2-LCJ in memory of the LIAT Twotter that crashed off TVSV St. Vincent with all souls lost in 1986 would be a cool tribute. Thank you for your time and we are hoping and keeping our fingers crossed for a LIAT Q4 in your release. Either way, speaking for myself, I can't wait to have it. I've lived in Vancouver for a few years and I know Horizon routes intimately. Blessings on you and your team.
  17. Speaking of Citations, Ron, my wallet and I were eagerly awaiting the arrival of your Citation Excel. Is that project still alive or has it become relegated to the drawing boards only now? I'm dying to know. I love Citations and....to be blunt.... I WANT!!! Cheers.
  18. If I might add my 2 cents worth, there's a project (www.project-do228.com) where the developers seem to have vanished. I was really excited about this one as I love Dornier 228s and 328s and was following the development then..... POOF! Nothing at all! This model's quality was SUPERB! The website domain is still being looked after it seems but the project is just......DEAD! That one hurts.... Cheers.
