I found, that even with the smallest GPS, I can make the game stutter. Do the devs even know about this?

I’m going nuts, can’t get ATC to work in this aircraft. Even though I try CTRL-E, starting everything, it won’t allow me to use ATC. I can see ATC text, but nothing happens when I click, tried other plane, works fine. What am I missing?

This is your problem. I have it when i fly glass, and gone when not.

A thought about this myself. What I did was plugging both in, so I could use the throttle etc. Removed all assignments in the old yoke, but leave it plugged in. It works, but you will need space nearby to place it.

Hi, just a quick question. I found myself flying with full mixture in turboprops. But is this correct? In other planes, I use mixture and watch for best fuel-flow.

The sound was a turnoff for me. I have bought many planes from Carenado, and I sure will again. Just not this one. I will wait for better payware.

When possible I will order one ASAP, I have the yoke, upgraded from Logitech. I can never go back.

Could it be related to latest windows update? Just installed a “big” one.

Live weather works very good here, very impressive. EKAH. But I think this may vary depending on where you fly, and how much data is available.

I think it’s great that we have the possibility to flight both. But this new sim tends to bit a bit more “glassy”, so more steam gauges please.

I kinda feel the same, also why I got premium deluxe for those extra aircraft’s. The old instrument 172 was important to me. I do fly the Beech now with glass, and can enjoy it, but prefer old school in the long run. The first plane I tried in MSFS20 was actually the old yellow piper.

I have been flying the Cessna and Beach 36G, same problem with both. In the Cessna, setting directly on the instrument, not flying the g1000, and does not align with autopilot. Same with the beech, setting In the glass cockpit, and does not align with the altimeter IN THE SAME GLASS COCKPIT.

Hi all. How do I align the altimeter setting? My altimeter are not showing the same value as the one I set in the autopilot. This happens when I set correct altimeter from weather changes.

Sometimes my sim does the same, VERY hard to culprint. Its like a specific settings that does this.

Hi all. My specs are below, and I’m using a gsync monitor. First I activated gsync for both windowed and full screen, got a tip from others here, thanks. Game runs in windowed and full screen window. Ingame: vsync off-unlimited FPS. External: Nvidia control panel set fast sync, and limit FPS to 60. Gsync activated. Rolling cache: set to off or even better, move to another hard drive if possible, done via game. I clocked my CPU higher, even a few 100mhz could be the difference, and allow for slightly higher settings. Mine seems stable at 4,8ghz I will try aiming for 5ghz. Do NOT turn off hyper threading, even though it will lower your temps, it’s not worth it. Using ingame weather settings, could lead to endless stutter, so you need to return to menu and start new flight. In general, don’t go into lots of setting on-the-fly, do it all BEFORE flight. Ai traffic will use a lot of resources, you might need those elsewhere. If you use manual cache (not rolling cache), don’t make it too big, UI can’t follow! If you don’t have voice on ATC, be sure that you installed English/US voice pack and activate text to speech, do that in Windows language settings. Use off/windows in settings in game. I couldn’t get Azure working. English is not my native, so I hope I explained it ok, if not, just ask. And I also know, computers can be quite different regarding hardware, so some of this might not work for all. I spend over 10 hours now in the sim, and this is what I learned so far, 10 hours more and I will probably be able to tweak even better. I hope they soon release a patch, lots that need patching. When I load a saved flight, it starts with all on, engine etc. That's not what I want.

I can confirm this. Now I just need to find the best settings regarding fps lock internal/external v-sync on/off

This also happens to me when I load a saved game, quite annoying. i want cold and dark.

I like the idea about limiting FPS. But I should do that external, and also external v-sync?

Thanks for the answer, but I don't have settings for windowed in control panel. I can select gsync or fast sync.

Hi all. i have noticed, that in graphic settings you can choose between windowed and borderless window. i have a gsync monitor, that only works in fullscreen. i can easily tell if something is not fullscreen, because then the build-in FPS counter won’t work. This could also lead to problems with v-sync. If anyone have a solution, I would be more than happy.

Everything looks very good here. could it be tight down to map coverage? The farm where I live, have all the details, even the smallest hedge. Airport is ai generated, looks so good. Perhaps some settings need tweaking?

Seems like true/exclusive fullscreen is not working. Therefore no need for gsync. Only window and window borderless. Anyone else getting this?
