    Mine went very smooth. No issues at all. I was up and running in about 2 hours. No ctd or any issues. Only problem I really had was setting up my controllers again. I thought they would have carried over from the beta

    This is not hard at all. Install all 3 which has an install button next to it. I have mine installed on my d drive and it went smoothly. Left it and went to bed and when I woke up it was ready to go

    Unless they made some drastic changes for the worse, then I can't agree with this. I just flew around NYC last night on high settings and my game never crashed on 4k with a 2080 super. As a matter of fact I've never had a ctd since the last 2 alphas.

    This and they are cranking up the render scaling to 200 which makes it way too sharp imo

    I just said Im running high settings lol. I flew last night @ 4k and everywhere I went my frames were 50-60 with GA planes. Only thing I changed was set trees to med and lens flare off. I'm expecting perf to be better since we are running beta that will be optimized for the final release

    4k @ 30 fps can be maintained everywhere with a 2080 ti, with my 2080 super, I get 30-35 fps in the big jets @nyc and lax on high settings. 50 - 60 everywhere else, especially in the smaller planes

    Yes I set my render scale to 80 and use Nvidia panel to bump up the sharpening a little bit. Works out well for me. Now with the new system I just built, I don't have to do that anymore

    I did change the res to 1440p but I didn't test it on high settings. I did try 1080p though and fps was very good. People with a 1080p monitor and at least a 1070 shouldn't have no problem at all

    The problem is that everyone is obsessed with running in ultra and their system can't handle it. Right now @ 4k with a 10700k, 2080 super, 32gb ram, I get 50-60 fps on high end settings and 30 in the big jets @ nyc. Just built this computer over the weekend. If I can get get 30 fps in the pmdg I'm nyc, then I'm good to go

    A 1070 @ 4k on medium settings gave me about 35 fps everywhere except big cities like NYC, lax etx

    xp and p3d are also GTA V plane emulator with bad default scenery if you look at it that way lol

    I've done that comparison. Looked at most of the small airports that orbx makes and the default fs2020 and for default airports they are quite nice. I know I won't be spending crazy money on airports except for a few icon ones

    Yes, the Xbox controller is recommended. It comes setup to use the drone camera and it works perfectly.

    I don't know what it's doing under the hood, but I have airports, navdata and procedures. Mind you I had this already installed when I was using xplane
