Can anyone tell me how this works. I am assuming its for setting a certain altitude when using the VS wheel but the aircraft goes past it. I am not familiar with the Proline 21. Thank you

I have the same issue except left engine

I just got this as well and the autopilot needs a little work. VNAV not working. Also on the 2 flights (engine dies) I got a low oil pressure, left engine N1 drops. The first time it happened right after take off, the second time it happened 15 minutes into the flight. I've never flown with this type of FMS so everything is new to me and probably why VNAV isn't following ALT constraints. Other than what Ryan has mentioned, its a really nice aircraft with good FPS. You also don't need the C90 to get the $10 discount, any previously purchased aircraft seemed to work. I tried to use my PAYPAL but the discount wouldn't show so I used my CC directly and got the discount. For now only Carenado sells it on their website.

I am using P3dv3.0 when taking off from KLAX to KSFO climbing towards RZS. If I look/pan to my left, FPS drops. This is looking at the ocean. This could be coincidence as it doesn't happen all the time and maybe other processes may have been running in the background affecting performance. So, it's not just v3.1 that is affected.

When testing or just flying, any access to the P3D Menu system (including right click anywhere on screen to bring up a floating menu), can cause SLI issues (sync issue and/or drop to single GPU). A solution to get both GPU's working again is to Alt + Enter twice. LM are aware of these issues and they are continuing to work with nVidia to come up with a solution." Has this issue been fixed or do we still have to avoid clicking the menu and right clicking the window to avoid the sync issue? I'm on P3dv2.5 by the way. Thanks for any help.

Do you have other games you play like BF4, Fallout4, COD, etc? P3D and FSX do not make great use of SLI. If the only game you play is P3D, it is a huge waste of money in my opinion.

To use with x-plane/prepar3d 3.0" I went with another 980Ti (arriving Monday) and will just stay with my 2560 x 1440 for now. I will use SLI for other games so it will help a little. "Frankly as an upgrade It wouldn't make much sense with the 40 inch 4K only a minor improvement over the 32 inch 1440p" I figured as much. I think the 980's are underpowered for 4k right now. Pascal might change that but that will be a year from now maybe. I really want great performance as well as a visual experience for FSX/P3d. But G-Sync could change that, I will have to wait for more user experiences with that technology. Thanks for the feedback guys. Fly safe

Swiesma and Bob, You guys are making it so hard to resist 4k. I am on the fence with getting G-Sync as well but I'm not sure if it will work with FSX/P3d. I'm watching and reading a lot of reviews and it seems technology is moving so fast that peripherals are getting outdated the minute you purchase something. I am also contemplating SLI with the 980Ti as well but not sure if it will be worth it, but my mouse pointer is on the "add to basket" as I type, lol. This hobby just gets better and better, the immersion factor is just so overwhelming. Thank you for your feedback. Oh, the girlfriend/wife thing. I can totally relate. Fly safe

Swiesma, Can I ask you some questions about your setup with that monitor? What video card or cards (SLI?) are you using to push 4K? Are you using Display Port 1.2 cable? Are you running 30hz or 60 hz at that resolution? what are your average FPS. I am interested in that monitor as well. Thanks for any help.

Hi everyone, How can I safely de-activate the MD-11 so I can reinstall my OS and reinstall again. I know on the 777 and 737 you can do it via the FMC. Thanks for any help

what was the problem?

I am getting the same wobbling, sort of like a really faint porpoising effect as I climb up to altitude. I am also using OpusFSI for weather as well. I don't get this with other aircraft.

Hi everyone, I installed FS Global2010 mesh on M:\FSGLobal2010 directory. When I'm in prepar3d2.5 using the scenery library, do I add that directory or all the sub-directories? I'm also not sure if the directories have already been added as I do not remember how many of the sub folders have been added. Thanks for any help Francisco
