  1. Hi Yoyo, We will "need" your updated VC textures when the patch will be issued - unless Pilot's gives us also new VC textures... It is way to dark to see all the details of this beauty in P3Dv5... Gérard
  2. Interesting approach. Will think about it Thanks Gérard
  3. Volker , I did understand it 🙂 And for that reason I clarified that FSUIPC was not necessary to get Alpha and Bravo working fine and take advantage of the profiles shared by the community. Please forget this wrong asumption that buttons greater than 32 will not be "recognized" by the driver - it's only the Windows Controler Manager that don't show them) Let me modify point 4, use the Configurator to download other profiles (will direct you to the right link). For the point 6, I thought it was necessary to insist that each profile (one for the Alpha and one for the Beta) needs to be activated separately. Gérard
  4. When you make a modification in the Configurator, ensure that 1 - you click the Apply Changes button (should be improved in the next version) 2 - you reactivate the profile in the Configurator (Activate profile on save should take care of that) 3 - you reload it in Prepar3D using the AddOn menu. Take care that A2A aircrafts and other high end models usually don't use the Standard Prepar3D events... For example, you can see in the Comanche profile a "L:BeaconLightSwitch" instead of the usual "K:BEACON_LIGHTS_ON" ! Welcome to the dark side of customization... For your test I suggest you start with an old faithful simple aircraft... Gérard
  5. Absolutly not necessary for the Honeycomb. Since I am using P3D, I have not re-installed FSUIPC. The driver is taking care of the extended button numbers. On your point 6, take care that you must activate the two profiles individually ! The new Configurator should be available soon - we will see what it brings on that points. Gérard
  6. HighByPass, I think that it should be a little bit lower as you suggest, but also more distant from the yoke (on the left and behind) to have the arm more extended. I have still to find the corresponding desk arrangement... 😉 Gérard

Thanks Oliver. I did not saw it that way, but I think that will answer to the objective 🙂 Cheers Gérard

It is the reason why I was "beging" for a "user free description field". So not even that... 😞 I don't agree - I am feed up multiplying the same information every where !
  9. The clamp of the Honeycomb will not fit. But, you have another solution with the "micro-suction pad" if the desk has a smooth surface.
  10. <OT On> Sorry 😞 I have the same Alpha/Bravo configuration (side by side) and I find it very awkward, giving me shoulder pain. Have you considered other dispositions ? Would like to share "ideas". </OT>

Hi Oliver, Just a thought : If this batch file (defined at global level) could access - be called with - a free format user field of the active aircraft (like a "description" on the Main Window for example), that would be a good compromise... No responsability for AAO and could be a solution for a lot of other "strange user request" 🙂 Cheers Gérard

I know that an update is coming soon. I will give you more details when it is released. Thanks - Gérard
  13. Have you the Add-ons Honeycomn entry in P3D ? Screenshoot extracted from "Basic test of the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle under P3D with the Honeycomb Configurator" Gérard

Because Saitek Panels, Fips or Elgato Stream Deck are not "way too hardware specific" 😉 Will check what will bring this 2.04 version... Cheers Gérard
  15. Have you desactivated the default assignements made by Prepar3D for a new equipment ? They may conflict with the Profile configuration. I had the case where a switch was making TWO actions... The configurator will take care of that for you. Gérard

Sorry, I did not get it while reading the documentation - but now it is obvious. I was confusing simulator axis with joystick axis 😞 I am not "buying" the autoscript approach - I was "dreaming" of added fields to your "aircraft database" (the profile names), which could be transmitted to a batch.. Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle will certainly become popular (once they solve their supplying issue...) Thanks for your answer - Gérard

Hi Oliver, I am tempted by your AAO. the Demo is awesome 🙂 I am wondering if it could be possible to - have one Throttle Axis activating two axis of P3D at the same time. A kind of "Assign combo", but without the need of a ComboKey ... - I have the Alpha and Bravo honeycomb devices. It would be perfect if the profiles could be included in the AAO aircraft settings and activated at aircraft selection. This would need only to copy the named profiles in the driver folder. (fixed names AFC_Yoke_Config and BFC_Throttle_Config). Cheers Gérard
  18. Volker The Bravo is an ambitious project and it is usual that the first version of such a software will benefit of user input. The software has to cope with a lot of different systems and simulators not to speak of different level of users 😉 I am a simple user (not affiliated to any company), but I feel sorry when I see somebody "fighting" to get it working, 1 - Forget the story about limit of number of buttons allowed in P3D - the driver (when corectly installed) will take care of that. 2 - To check that you have it installed and working just look at your P3D menu (extract from Basic test of the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle under P3D with the Honeycomb Configurator) May I smile for your lattest sentence 🙂 I still have to see a version 1 (and may be even V5) where no user error is possible... If you use the driver and the configurator (that I strongly recommand), you also need to desactivate all key assignements automatically done by P3D for a new equipment, they will conflict with the Profile configuration. You will only use P3D assignements for the Axis. The configurator will take care of that for you. Hope you will quickly enjoy your Bravo. Gérard
  19. Are you sure that the driver is correctly installed ? I suggest you take a look at "Basic test of the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle under P3D with the Honeycomb Configurator" https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/159358-basic-test-of-the-honeycomb-bravo-throttle-under-p3d-with-the-honeycomb-configurator/ More useful than ranting everywhere 😉 Gérard
  20. The Configurator is doing a great job, no need for FSUIPC nor LINDA. And Aerosoft is improving it with user's feedback and suggestions. Just take a look here https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/files/category/126-honeycomb-profiles/ there is a growing list of profiles readly available. Gérard
  21. Hi, Yes Configurator only ! Send me a PM with your email. I will forward you my "Turbo Prop" profile ... Gérard
  22. Yes, but you are loosing the possibility to have idle reverse and full reverse... Gérard
  23. I made for my own use a minimalist start up process (from the VC) - Battery Switch - Fuel selectors (Port wing tanks to 1&2, Port distributor to 1&2 On) (Starboard wing tanks to 3&4, Starboard distributor to 3&4 On) - Cowl flaps full open (FE panel) - Master mag On For each engine - FE panel : crack open throttle, engine mixture full rich - CPT Overhead : engine mag to both, starter switch, booster switch - FE Panel : Primer button, manual engine full pump (far right under the FE table) Hope this will give you the desire to read the documentation - much more to discover 🙂
  24. Agreed 🙂 I had several exchanges with Ben about the driver. That's been always very helpful and interesting. Good luck in your new position. Gérard
  25. I Dave, Could you forward my suggestion to give us the possibility to buy additionnal "GA" throttle levers ? For a lot of vintage 4 piston engines "airliner" : Constellation, DC4, DC 6 to name the most known payware, it make sense to use 4 axis for throttle, and only 1 for propeller and 1 for mixture. I asked Honeycomb support (because I had a commercial lever issue) and never got any answer 😞 - not fair ! Fortunatly, Aerosoft was much more reactive and solve efficiently my issue (sent me a new lever) - hats off to them. 😊 And they informed me that it was not possible to buy extra levers box 😞 So, as "Honeycomb/Aerosoft (Advisor)", could you forward my request ? Thanks Regards - Gérard
