  2. Exactly. I have started to update all my add-on.xml except Orbx, because - they frequently mix alt.bgl with traffic.bgl - they update very frequently their sceneries to (try to) address V5 evolution... But will happen one day 🙂 Gérard I am convinced that sloped runway is the real driver for this long waited evolution.
  3. @GSalsen, Any suggestion to solve the way too dark cockpit in V5. I don't even see switches and knobs on most aircrafts. Thanks - Gérard
  4. I have the same problem. Can you comment on what should be edited ? And all my cockpit are much darker than in V4 and it is very difficult to see most of the switch and knobs. Suggestions are welcome. Thanks Gérard
  5. Thanks for the confirmation. I am impressed and happy with the improvements already brought by V5. @Rob_Ainscough, will it be possible to get in the future the CPU, GPU and Vram hitters, like you (and Beau from LM) did for the previous versions. I am convinced that DX12 have changed some parameters impact. This would allow us to make the right choices to get the best of V5 tunned for one's configuration.   6. You are right, but that was not the topic. There is a need to let people know this change (probably needed for the sloped runways). It is not as frequent to need to change the ICAO name 😉 LM has not listed it in any change log as long as I know. And the impact is not unsignificant... That is the reason why I try to insist on this point frequently. Regards Gérard
  7. Since Prepar3D V4.5 HF2 the elevation of an airport is defined by the LAST redefinition (upper in library). There is no more such a thing as Alt stub. One of the reasons of vector not being ported to V5. So the elevation must be fixed by your airport supplier. Gérard

  12. Works great in V5. Just make sure that the yoke drive add-on.xml file is known from V5.

The "programming" of the Yoke (using YokeInput program) is highly dependant of the aircraft (sometime you have to use local variable specific to the gauges of that aircraft) and need a basic knowledge of gauge events coding. The profile created by Aerosoft can be a starting point, BUT you may not agree with there assignements to fonctions ! For exemple, they assign a key to "brakes" were I usually expect "parking brakes" since I have rudder pedals... Let me know if I can help. Gérard

  16. Unfortunatly I got one at SKBG Palonegro :(with ORBX LC South America) 😞 but Pasto is awesome 🙂 Waiting patiently for the fix .... and will not go back to 4.5. I never had a so pleasant flight experience : 30fps smooth with a lot of slider to the right, even in very heavy ORBX regions. Gérard
  17. Could have been a last minute change. Remenber beta tester clamed that they did not get the RTM build.
  18. To get access at their support you must register, but you never get the validation mail. Once registered, it is impossible to "re-register", and to complain you need to register !!!! I asked assistance from SimMarket but never get any feedback. It's a pitty, because there scenery are interesting ! If anybody has succeed to get in touch with them, please tell us how. Gérard

YES 🙂 Found per chance the same "guide to the lighting settings in P3D" yesterday 🙂 I recommand to take a look at HDR_BLOOM_THRESHOLD and decrease it to address the washed aspect of lighted objects. Mine is now at 2.70 (inherited of REX EF in V4), instead of default 10.5. Let me know what you think about. Gérard
