ALL the early access products say that.

So if a dev came out with an add-on that transformed your fsx into 64 bit and eleiminated OOMs for $25 you would not buy it?

I would hardly say most add-ons, don't see in fact any reason at all why scenery would require any type of conversion that has to do with 32/64 bits..

What would that accomplish? You still have to download the whole thing... I don't need to work for any company to have common sense...

What exactly would you like them to consider? If a game takes up whatever size it does with all its content that's the size., Nothing to do about that . If you have a crappy Internet connection that's your problem to solve not the game developer's or distribution platform's...

I will, as all flight school owners, I paid the ridiculously huge amount of $0 so I definitely want to get my money's worth...

What "XP early access" are you talking about...? Do you mean XPlane? Is so, that was not free.....

100% agree... so many ignorant/ pessimistic posts... And then there are also those that for some reason think they would look pretty dumb to say good things after spending hundreds (thousands?) of dollars on the older platforms and think that accepting the new sim would somehow make that spending have been for nothing... Not really sure why. I have spent lots of $ on all FSX, XP and P3D, but have also purchased AF2, and Flight School, and will try out all the new stuff (and really, when a new sim costs the same as maybe a medium priced add-on, not giving it a try and just talking crap without first hand experience, is just silly...)

Hm.. no, those 6th gen *ARE* the minnimum requirement. *Minimum* means the lowest you need to run the program... anything from there UP/Newer works, but lower/older will NOT work

The comparrison with X-plane has nothing to with his observation. x-Plane is no different than fsx and p3d.. just "ok" out of the box and you have to add to it to get decent stuff.. it's not like what he speculates they might be trying to do with this one.

It does not matter what the program does, that is simulates an aircraft, or whatever spin you want to put on it. Are you using the results for some scientific purpose? Some work related item? Or are you playing pretend pilot..? Yeah, I thought so... You are right about one thing though, you can choose to make any distinction you want, if that includes deluding yourself, that is valid too...
