A full uninstall, removal of all traces of the A300, followed by a fresh reinstall on INI Manager (with the lower resolution textures). And now I have this:- I'm a pretty modern guy (for a 51 year old). But pink has it's place. Maybe on a golf or polo shirt. But not in my 80s vintage cockpit.

IMO the INI Manager is so poor. When you install liveries for the A300, then remove them at any point from your Community folder, the INI Manager does not update. So it just continues to say "installed" even when you've removed the liveries and even when you've restarted the Ini Manager app.

...and the interior sounds are aroud 90% quiter than any other aircraft! I just don't get why they keep doing this. They did it with the originally released (GE) version of the A300. People complained and they (slightly) improved it. Now the P&W's sound mixing is arguably even worse than the original GE release!

Has the owner of the new PC confirmed to you that MSFS is actually installing on his machine, remotely, without him doing anything? If not, I doubt it's actually installing on his/her machine, even if the MS Store is telling you it is.

[Deleted - as above. Now resolved]. IMO The sound levels and configuration of the PW engines are worse than with the GE engines. Almost silent cockpit from around 10,000' .... barely even any wind/environment sounds. It's like the A310 was on release. Behind this silliness, I can hear really nice quality source files. Again, it's INI's sound engineer's attempt to be creative with the config. Loud engines and screaming AC on the ground. Close to silent once established in the climb.

Well, it's released! What do we think? I expected a plethora of comments and reviews already (or possibly a new thread) 😄 I've grabbed the update - very fast download - but can't fly yet as I'm taking my son to a Karate competition! 👊

The in-house Orbx regional fields are still pretty nice (picked up Dundee in Scotland yesterday and it's gorgeous), but you're right, some of the airports that Orbx just publish that are made by 3rd parties are a lot weaker. I have 3 by Fly2High and they're all pretty bland and unexceptional.

The OP's getting a good bashing here! But although the chosen words weren't the wisest (and did make it sound like he was critiquing a product that's not even released), all I think he meant was "Which annoying MSFS bugs would you be most frustrated to STILL see in MFS2024?". I agree with the suicidal ground crew! The pilot controlled lights I couldn't give a monkey's arm about 😄 I'm sure some weaknesses of MSFS will transfer through to MFS2024, but hopefully there'll be a range of new 'wow' factors in the new sim, that will help take our minds off them.

London Oxford (in Kidlington) is pretty far out too.

A different airport, but I recently bought their EGNM (Leeds) and performance is absolutely fine. No discernible drop whatsoever. The fact that it's absolutely stunning and puts Orbx V2 to shame is also pretty nice!

I never flew without FSUIPC for 15 years. .....until MSFS. Wouldn't touch it now and therefore neither any addons that depend on it (such as Aivla EFB, PF3 and a few other ATC addons). The three times I've tried it in the last 4 years, it's caused huge problems in the sim).

Yes but the OP said that he does. Hence less likely to be settings related in his case.
