  1. Right clicking on all dials Speed/Mach Nav/HDG and Alt i have only experienced working. Also as i only use direct GPS entry and steer via HDG to match direction of The ATC calls. I cant think of what's going on there and as of what/how the dots mean/function next to the Displays is beyond me. Found this YouTube link (11) Detailed A320 Cockpit Guide (FSX - Aerosoft A320) - YouTube Start at 39 min mark.
  2. Is the dial being right clicked? This is what I am assuming?
  3. Just quick. DX12 might help its (Hyperthreading) Rolling cache issues too so fingers crossed. Good old days of FS2002 wont return and there were only service packs to fix issues. Good for you to actually bring up this thread. But all software, Sim or otherwise is now in free fall condition now and only going to get worse.
  4. Aerosoft A320/A321 professional liveries - AEROSOFT COMMUNITY SERVICES That's the website Login using google works. I assume this is what you mean?
  5. Added info so as not to confuse. Once 200 kias is reached after rotation throttle back to cl then click AP1 A/thr exped then dial in spd to 250 and right click so dot is no longer showing and then do the heading the same way and Airbus should follow spd hdg and alt settings.
  6. With their 319 I edited the aircraft.cfg file This line autothrottle_max_rpm = 105.00 edit to autothrottle_max_rpm = 98.00 There's an autobraking line you can also edit to 1 to give autobraking but that's not this topic. Edit with Notepad++ to avoid fiddling with save permissions. Speed in TOGA to 200 kias then you set the throttle quadrant to cl position first (2 clicks back from TOGA) Then click AP1 A/thr and exped so you see Thr clb top left of screen this keeps the speed till altitude dialed (Altitude set and right click to enter) is reached then speed or Mach is activated. That's what I am assuming you mean?
  7. I Quoted a text down here from a MSFS topic here at avsim. Exactly what I thought as I saw how quick the freeware market got filled with very good scenery, airports and landmarks. I think the devs who just ONLY bet on MSFS will have to consider how to proceed. Aerosoft for instance has dropped us completely and very rude. They will get no single penny from me anymore. I do still buy P3D add-ons and will support every dev who supports and provides me too! What this user down here wrote at MSFS is what could lead to income decrease for the payware market currently massively developing for MSFS. But the question is.....how long and how long exclusively they will do that? I bet it won't take long to see them coming back. Interesting isn't it? Marcus Quote from a user at MSFS; I realized reading this thread how much more frequently I go to flightsim.to to look for airports or interesting scenery than I do to any online store. I also find a lot of the default airports pretty adequate, and some like the recent Lethbridge scenery to be basically the payware quality of P3D. I have purchased some scenery, but I am not on the lookout for it like I used to be. It has to be an airport that I will fly to a great deal -- for example, I picked up Buttonville because it is my home airport. I have been really impressed by how many people have taken up the task of developing a scenery and making it available. I have even been contemplating learning to do this myself and contributing some small airports to the pool. MSFS is extending or enriching the hobby for me and this is one of its primary contributions. In P3D scenery development seemed complex and difficult, and I just never thought I would have the time and energy to learn to do it so I never considered it. But now there are enough examples and tutorials and people to talk to that I think it is worth a try. Of course, maybe it is not so difficult in P3D and developers just conveyed a sense of mystique and hardship that it seemed that way. Regardless, MSFS is extending and enriching the hobby for me. Not really related to the topic except a community warning about Aerosoft installers. If or when you have to reinstall P3D or wipe windows and start over YOU HAVE to RUN the P3D and exit THEN RUN the Aerosoft installer, otherwise it'll error out. Its a major issue and so you may have escaped a bullet there and those who are unaware this issue exists. Bought 2 planes from them (A319, A330) and are very happy with them. Again sorry if this comment doesn't add to the discussion but it has to get out there about their company's software.
  8. Yup 11 gig videocard for the HDR lighting and tessellation settings P3D v5 is needed. 8gigs or lower tessellation has to be set back to medium and HDR edited to 0 in the prepar3d.cfg file. EA can be kept on though. Most users have to wait till 12-16 gig VC's becomes the norm as cost and availability come. Also X-plane 11 has the HDR set and it chokes the framerate out of it and so that's back to being dialed to medium and your right back to P3D territory and of course why bother going to it. Overall once the tweaks are done your good. I've pumped $1000 AUD in aircraft into P3DV5 recently and come away mostly disappointed. Waiting for an A319 for FS2020 then ill jump over to it but for now I'll keep on plugging away at what P3D has to offer.
  9. Axis assignments, find which eyepoint setting it might be to look then you find the right one and have that action repeated by a line next to it on the right. Otherwise you might have software that macros the button so that the sim can see it.
  10. Hi just did a clean install of W10 / P3D V5.1 / Aircraft finding this mod did artifact 1 aircraft in my install where the Aircraft select is. Other aircraft are fine. Hunch is its the model/lighting itself and not the mod. im still very happy with it and a way smoother experience. Just backup the old file as BiologicalNanobot says and clear cache. Looking at the next hotfix then start from a mod free stock P3D 5 to see what happens.
  11. Confirming working with HF1 / HDR with SDR frame rates and looking much better Thankyou.
  12. Oh ok great. Don't use mipmaps cockpit so i wouldn't have noticed.
  13. Have you right clicked on the label above the com radios? GPS turned on via upper knob turning via up mouse wheel. Curtains can be closed also pilots wear sunglasses from front view and clicking cockpit. Didn't find this till recently. Best bizjet BTW. Even has an autothrottle.
  14. Look for HDR=1 and change to HDR=0 in Prepar3d.cfg file From a stuttering mess on in EA to pretty smooth.
  15. Have their A330 Pro. Update it? set to show experimental then update again? Try dialing in altitude then right click on it. Also had to edit the aircraft.cfg to modify/fix the autopilot/autothrottle FLC issue on it. Beta might've fixed it but haven't checked yet! If your interested to try it out on the A320 just ask how i did it.
  16. Don't have that CPU but copy/paste to Prepar3d.cfg [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=349525 With your HT on
  17. True about the 3 year life span and on the Thermal cut offs. As of now im just ruling out CPU/GPU or board fault here. Didnt think about core parking in windows. Im not trying to scare anyone just letting people know about it and keep a mindful eye on hardware throttling issues that may cause stutters. Yep did 2 upgrades this year alone (empty pockets as usual but simming is worth it).
  18. Continuous cursor stuttering on windows browser/screen in the last day , where as before i had no issues after a BIOS update the previous month. Don't quote me on it but just keep an eye on cpu temps when running into the 5 ghz speed and disable it if any issues with booting or windows start occurring. Enhanced doesn't mean disabling the entire turbo but my 10700k ran hot and hasn't faired too well with it over 5.0/5.1 So i had to now dial the turbo back to 4.7 and now I'm worried its fried or something.
  19. Check Enhanced turbo or MCE isn't set in bios Only the regular turbo is set as this was found to be auto/enabled and may have fried my cpu now resulting in cursor stutters even after formatting. Might help. You wont get the 5gig CPU speed but may save it from stuttering/frying. No silicon lottery here.
  20. Quickest way to calculate AffinityMask to disregard HT and only use real cores is to total count threads (9900k/10700k) 16 threads then divide by 4. That gives you 5555 hex value then convert to decimal which is 21854. (8700k Ryzen 5600 etc) would be 12 threads giving 555 hex which is 1365 and so on. Of course this doesn't work when using combo real and HT threads. Also easier to remember than having to go from right to left in which earlier posts i made caught me posting wrong.
  21. Antivirus programs running during install? They might be picking up false positives. Other than that stick with v4 until 5.1 HF2 comes out download the whole thing and see if it takes on any install and wait for the EA component to be tweaked hopefully by then.
  22. Ok when installing V5 again can you try to install it to a different directory and activate it if necessary to see what happens.
  23. Did you run a modify to the main P3D program? and the other parts of the program too? Otherwise a full uninstall of the program and run a registry cleaner then installing back might work.
  24. Any 3rd part scenery installed? If not then go to /Appdata/Roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v5 folder And delete the Prepar3D.cfg file only and rerun the sim. It might work but don't do it if you have other scenery installed as i just run stock and can be quickly fixed with this method.
  25. PSU could be about to fail? Try a 650 Watt or better 700 watt to have CTD safety margin. Modern 3XXX GPU's that no one can buy require 850 Watt (RTX 3080) or better 1000 Watt (RTX 3090) to be stable (No CTD issues). RTX 3070 mightn't CTD with a 750 Watt. It's a known (Google) fact that they overdraw power. Just my 2 cents worth as other people here have these cards.
