  3. DISCLAIMER: The NDA for the Leonardo MD80 has been partially lifted for the beta testers to start showing screens and videos. The following screens represent the latest beta build, but not necessarily the final release build. I am not allowed to answer any detailed questions about features/functions other than what Leonardo has officially released thus far. Please just enjoy the pics 🙂 Grabbed some shots on arrival to one of the most picturesque places on the planet, and of course wonderfully recreated by Orbx. Heading to TULSI intersection to join TULSI3A arrival Sun in my eyes (should have showed you guys the visor, which works.) 🙂 Dropping into the valley Runway in sight Majestic mountains all around Short final Passengers get a stunning view on either side of the plane Pretty good crab into the direct crosswind! Safely down, Buckets out, slowing the classic girl down...check out that wind sock! 😲 Spotter was laying in the grass and crawled to the runway edge to snap these shots....he's in custody now. 🙂 Ahh...Innsbruck Rear door down.... Had to pop the airstairs at this gate. Final pic....this poor spotter heard an old SAS MD was heading to LOWI and stayed out all night...motionless, to get some shots....Poor guy has a dusting of snow on him and his camera....maybe he's frozen up there! Talk about a FREEZE FRAME!🤣

  5. Trying to land at GJA (Guanaja) in the DHC-2 but somehow the aircraft gets stuck at 274ft. First I thought I was too fast so I did a go-around but then I couldn't climb higher too! Autopilot is off, tried to climb with autopilot but that didn't work either. I even cut the engine but the aircraft didn't move an inch below or above 274ft. It did stall however and started a spin, while being stuck at the same altitude. Finally I got the "overstressed" warning which ended the flight. Has anyone experienced something similar? (using the AAU beta)

Glass Cockpits Garmin G3000 / G5000 Added aural alerts for TIS/TAS/TCAS traffic and resolution advisories. Added support for choosing aural alert voice type (male/female). Enabled the Direct-To buttons in the GTC Waypoint Information and NRST pages. Most aural alerts that trigger at the same time will now be played back in a queue instead of overlapping each other. Note that some alerts are still allowed to overlap others. New CAS warning and caution messages are now accompanied by an aural chime. The active NAV source is now reset to FMS when the system is power cycled. Fixed a bug where the VSR navigation data bar field always displayed dashes (‘––––’). Selecting a waypoint in the GTC Direct-To page (either via the keyboard or the Nearest tab) that matches the current Direct-To target will now load the appropriate existing Direct-To information. There is also a 3 Way switch (On, Pulse, Off) possible. The LDG-Light function in V0.5 don't work with this option.
  8. I normally don't do fictionals...but a friend on the beta team lives in New Zealand and really loves this livery. They did fly the 2/3/400s but never the -700. In flightsim, she can be a -700! I think she looks rather dashing in this livery. 🙂

Hey Guys, It's been a long, hard, enjoyable, frustrating (for everyone...Devs, testers, patiently waiting simmers, hehe), rewarding, and incredible experience beta testing this phenominal aircraft! I have bitten a hole clean thru my bottom lip watching all the speculative posts in many forums, knowing answers to questions you guys had but had to remain in the cone of silence.....until toady! You guys know me as a long-time contributor of freeware paints, and I'm pleased to announce that I will continue that tradition with the release of this epic aircraft. I plan to bring over all my previous paints for the 737-700, in addition to a few that I've created by request by members of the beta team. Before I paste in the pic of all the paints I'm converting, let me show you a few of what you've all been waiting for (all have been recreated and depict the latest beta build of the aircraft.) I wanted to make my very 1st public screen one that hits several cools things that max out Steve's geek meter. 🙂 I echo Rob's excitement about the DD Renton scenery. Being a "virtual" painter, I see the completion of my "virtual paint hangar" come to life in this scenery! Here is my completed Germania paint getting ready to roll out of the Renton Paint Hangar. 🙂 The lighting and atmospherics in MSFS, the scenery and the plane are something to behold in this pic. Look at the lights on the paint scaffolds reflecting off the plane...just awesome! And who can guess the next paint I'm working on? This is the 1st repaint from scratch I did for a fellow beta tester. This is a new-ish airline in South America. I like it. Its an odd livery from a painter's standpoint because the winglets when looking from the left are blue and looking from the right, orange. Guys, unfortunately I'm on a laptop traveling this week (figures)...and converting these screens to the latest beta build has been a challenge to say the least. But regardless, I'll do the best I can getting you guys some more screens as even with a small screen, this palne is so photogenitc! In addition, the beta team is still extremely busy testing and trying to get her done for you guys, so I know that any lack of screens or communication in the near future won't be met with "OMG why are they not posting screens and answering every detailed question we ask?? I want my screens and answeres....and I want them NOW! LOL. Honestly, I think what you guys REALLY want is the plane...so let us focus on making that happen....deal? Here are a few more randoms...

  11. guys need some help if its even possible. i like many find the default yellow taxi very difficult to read. so I downloaded some replacement textures from flightsim.to , installed correctly, but know they are all white with no letters are numbers ive broken them. in a panic i bought justflights better taxi signs to try and rectify buts not worked , aim now stuck with these blank white signs , any ideas ? schoolboy error didn't back up the original

  14. It’s hard to imagine how this release is so broken, for so many, after a beta test period. Is the beta cycle just lip-service? Did they actually change or fix anything discovered in the beta? Did they break more things in the GA build vs what people tested in beta?
