  6. Hey guys, not sure if I am in the right place for this, but here goes... I have been running the VA-List for quite a while now and am ready to get more serious with my plans and am planning to deliver a new type of global FS Acars system for Virtual Airlines. Now... I am looking for someone with experience in this fs acars business, who can join the VA-List team indefinitely and provide the coding needed. It will be a big project with features not yet seen. But best of all I will offer financial compensation in one way or another, this can and will be discussed. ;) I do not wish to put all my ideas on the internet right now, and I am looking for people with an affinity for Virtual Airlines, who enjoy coding and basically like everything that happens around Virtual Airlines and is looking to join a project which is really really cool. Really! So if you want some more information and can show me that you mean business and know a thing or two about programming for Flight Simulator, send me an email at admin@va-list.com with a little bit of personal information, why you are interested (even with the small amount of information I am providing) and what you have done in the past regarding FS coding. And hopefully I can (with your help) provide the Virtual Airline world a new and exciting way to track flights.

  8. Hello everyone ! I have quite a problematic issue with FSUIPC/SimConnect. After something around 4 or 5 hours of flight, FSUIPC disappears from the "Add-Ons" menu of FSX. My virtual airline's ACARS don't gather any information about the plane's conditions (flaps up/down, gear up/down, overspeeding, landing rate...). kACARS landing rate isn't working too, as well as EFASS: it stops showing the aircraft on the map. FSUIPC still continues to autosave the flight though. Some people on the internet says it's a problem with SimConnect, but I haven't seen yet a Can you guys help me ? It is a huge problem since EFASS and my VA's ACARS are the main programs I use for my flights :( Thank you, AF1621.
  9. Will the Communication MFD system be modeled in the 777 and if not can the ACARS and Company pages be created by 3rd party developers through the SDK. Also will the Accept, Cancel, Reject buttons be modeled as well. If you are unsure as to what I am talking about reference the Communications chapter section MFD Communications in the FCOM for more information. I have always felt this is one area (Inflight Dispatching) of FS that is waiting for someone to come along and properly render even if all the messages are just coming from a pre programmed database during flight. If you have not had the chance try doing yor pre deparure clearance with heathrow using CPDLC..... then send your position reports off to Shanwick/Gander every hour adds to the realism when flying online. Sorry about the double post I thought the web page timed out.
