Hi guys, So whenever I'm over a significantly big mass of water, and I look straight or below, my FPS drops down by more than half (while if I look up to the sky my fps increases to 29-30fps Locked.) I had REXTextureDirect installed before this so I thought it may have caused this, but after reverting to default waters, the problem still persists. I also have DX10 fixer installed, should I mess with those settings also. Thanks!

Hi all - I'm already aware that people have had issues with FPS drop when the mouse is on screen, but my issue is in reverse  As soon as the mouse auto-hides itself, my FPS drops to around 10-12. I wiggle the mouse and it pops back up to 28-32. It didn't always used to do it, it just started doing it one day. Drives me nuts! If anyone can help or offer a solution, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks FSX on a standard HP Pavilion laptop, Triple-core AMD Processor with integrated graphics, 3GB Ram - Runs like a dream

Some of you might know I've had terrible experiences with FPS,frames issues. Mainly was caused by my hardware. So I got a better graphic card and yup it sure cure a lot of problems that I was struggling. But..just a little I notice lately. If I load my fs right into an airport, I can get very high FPS(say..40 at KMDW),even if park it there. But if I fly from somewhere else into it, when approaching I can see some framerates drop and when landing into it, it really drops lower than I expected (I only get ~15-25FPS). Can anyone help me finding the cause? I'm thinking if it drops from 40 to only 15-25. If at KJFK I can only get ~20-25FPS, what will it be when it drops? .. could be 10..could be lower /Little bit off topic. I'm running E5300@4Ghz. Will E8400@4Ghz or maybe 4.2Ghz increase the performance? I hope someone here is using E8400. And will 6 or 8GB ram make any difference comparing to 4GB ram?

Hey all, pretty much what the title says. I will do a flight from point A ---> B and my FPS will gradually start falling, especially at "the end" (approach & landing). However if I exit the game and load back into the destination (or departure) airport, with all of the same settings as before, my FPS is once again "normal". Let me give you an example: I did a VERY short flight (only about 1hr - keep in mind the FPS drop is similar during much longer flights) from LJLJ (Ljubljana, Slovenia - Scenic Routes) ---> LKPR (Prague, Czech Republic - Tailstrike Designs) with the PMDG 737-800. I have a very nice system (5900X, RTX3090, 32GB RAM, 980 Pro, etc. etc.). Anyways, I started with 48 FPS (I have V-Sync enabled and my frames locked at 33 % to avoid conflicts due to a G-Sync monitor) and landed with only about 24ish. After shutdown I decided to disable FSLTL traffic to see if I maybe just need to restart FSLTL Traffic. The FPS only went up to about... 30ish. I then proceeded to close the game and launch it, spawn back in with the same weather, settings and mods (yes, even FSLTL was active), and was getting 46ish FPS.. Basically, I'll usually be getting anywhere from 60-70 FPS with my FPS unlocked and then it drops to anywhere from 40-50 FPS with FSLTL Traffic (for most bigger airports), but never bellow 30 FPS. I try to configure my settings this way, but obviously I don't do hundreds of test flights just to see what kind of drop I should really expecting.. Does anyone know how to mitigate this "issue"? Hi, I just recently installed PMDG 737NGX on my brand new machine that I just builded for FSX, and I am experiencing a hugh drop (50%) in FPS when flying with 737 NGX. If I fly with the default 737 or any other, I have no problem with performance. I get somewhere around 12 FPS and I usally get 25 - 30 FPS. I just hope that 12 FPS is not normal because I understand that this aircraft uses a lot of CPU resourses due to overall detail of aircraft and systems on board. In addition, I experience other issues like CTD "fatal error message" when I end the flight - this happens 50% of the time. Also, If I go to map during the flight and whant to come back to the game, my screen gets all messed up, or if I have to go to desktop: same thing. I appreciate any help on this. Thanks.
