We are pleased to announce the opening of the FOCUS ON FREEWARE Forum. The purpose of this forum is to provide reviews of freeware add-ons of any type and any sim platform for the community's reading pleasure. Freeware authors contribute phenomenally to our hobby and we think it important that we give volunteer reviewers (Freeware Evangelists as we have called them) the chance to pick the best of the best and present an in-depth review of the aircraft, scenery, utility, AI Collection, etc. for their fellow community members. Has anyone managed to run FXAA with no problems on P3D? It's a great little tool and I used it with FSX but the problem I'm having is the FXAA settings are getting lost when the P3D main window loses focus to the ATC window. A little annoying that the scenery suddenly loses it's nice look when ATC cuts in. It's fixable by re-maximising the P3D window but I would much rather it not happen at all. Any advice would be much appreciated.

P3D v3.4 hangs/crashes when loosing focus

Hi there, I ran into this problem a couple of months ago and after reading (incl. the great AVSIM CTD-Guide) and trying everything I have read so far, I'm giving up and asking for your precious help. P3D 3.4 inconsistently hangs while the sound keeps running when I switch to another application and that happens in almost any thinkable situation - never while running in the foreground. I took off in fullscreen, switched to window mode and clicked inside my browser. ... after P3D ran in fullscreen and I clicked into my 2nd screen. ... after P3D ran in a small window in the background for some time without touching anything. ... and so on. I couldn't get P3Dv2 run into the same problem so far though. P3Dv3.4 is running with around 45fps. I never ran into OOM's. (failed) troubleshooting so far: installed earlier nVidia drivers (341.x, 352.x, 359.x ...) using DDU - reverted back to newest new Prepar3D.cfg, DLL.XML, scenery.cfg etc. disabled all addons no tweaks new Windows user System File Checker disabled unnecessary startup applications System: Intel Core i5-4690K @ 3.50GHz 8 GB RAM nVidia GeForce GTX 760 Win10 Pro 64Bit no overclockings Thank you for any advice.
