  1. Yes. No problem here. The latest build is performing excellently on my end.
  2. That sounds a bit frustrating and for sure kills some of the excitement for the new hardware. I hope you get it sorted quickly. One question: Did you order from the global store or preorder from a regional store? I‘m just curious because European preorders still haven’t been delivered. I know a wait of 2-3 months is to be expected, but would be nice to hear if others regions start to see first deliveries of the preorders.
  3. I have the problem that with the last couple of builds, I get severe stutters when I first install the build. Then after using it a couple of times, the stutters somehow disappear. I deleted shaders, sound drivers and what not, but there seems to be no proper fix. Very strange. Performance is in general very inconsistent.
  4. No. I'm on a Pimax Crystal Light with the full resolution, which is the same as the Pimax Original. It all depends on the headroom you have left on the CPU. With GA aircraft in less populated areas, it will certainly increase fps. Not with airliners on heavy airports and with AI traffic. In these scenarios, the CPU is the precious resource. Not the GPU if you run anything above a 5080.
  5. My experience is that Foveated Rendering is a double-edged sword anyways. It can take load off the GPU but at the cost of significantly increasing load on the CPU. In my case, for example, I get significantly lower fps in the Fenix with AI traffic if I turn on Foveated Rendering compared to when I turn it off. Of course, this is driven by the fact that my GPU is very powerful and the CPU is the limiting factor with complex aircraft and AI traffic. But I would assume that this also applies to others who run 4090s or even 5080s. So be careful. Foveated Rendering always sounds like the life saver for fps but under certain circumstances it is actually quite the opposite.
  6. Same here. That sucks. Had a bit of spare time and now the simulator doesn't work...
  7. When flying airliners (Fenix, iFly, etc.) at full resolution of the Pimax Crystal Light and medium to high settings in MSFS 2024, the utilization of my 5090 is at 100% and I get between 40-45 fps on large airports. I had a 5080 before, which was struggling in these scenarios. In less heavy GA aircraft, the 5080 was ok and I still got nice performance. But the Crystal Super has even higher resolution...
  8. I'm also experiencing these long frames in VR. Very annoying.
  9. Great. With the new build I get CTDs.
  10. I think with the last updates it is really important to clear caches when installing a new build. I upgraded to the latest version today and had severe stutters. Could have been because I installed the latest DLSS files with the previous build but left it at v3.10.1 this time. Once I deleted the NVidia shader caches as well as the rolling cache, the stutters were gone and performance is back to normal (which is still slightly worse than the first SU4 beta builds).
  11. No, it is not working properly. If I limit the fps to 45, then I get 32-33 fps in VR. When I disable the limiter, then I get a steady 45 fps (locked at half refresh rate in the Pimax software). Absolutely ridiculous.
  12. Do you guys clear the rolling cache with every new release? I have never done that, but thinking that I should give it a try because of the stutters I have been getting lately.
  13. Unfortunately, the latest beta is not working well on my system. I have much lower fps than in previous builds and I get frequent stutters with sound drop-outs indicating a near-CTD. Really disappointed with the latest release. I'm so happy that I have done numerous flights with the first SU4 betas which were heaven in terms of performance. On my system, the main thread is very inconsistent again which leads to stutters. One step forward and two steps back again...
  14. Same here. And recently I also have a hard time turning landing lights on and off in the Fenix.
  15. Even without controllers, the mouse is not working 100%. It is working mostly but sometimes I cannot flick switches because they don't react when clicking the mouse. I have to look away and then back at the switch to make it work. Was never a problem before SU4 beta.
