July 12, 200322 yr I get a dual-engine flameout when center tank gets to 0 if I start with fuel in the center tank. If I start with only main tank fuel, I don't see this.RegardsBob Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case

July 13, 200322 yr Commercial Member Thomas,When you set up your flight and adjust your fuel levels, does the tank selector say "all" in the fuel menu?ThanksPaul GollnickTechnical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Group[www.precisionmanuals.com] Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 14, 200322 yr - In cold&dark, Fuel flow switches must be on "CUT-OFF" position, not at idle. I left them at cut off position before selecting PMDG 737,- In cold&dark, Pitot heaters must be at "OFF" position, not "ON". L left then off before selecting PMDG 737,- Bleed air needs a serious check, I can start two engine same time even with packs on.- F/D V2+20 Command after T/O works lazzy- 2D Cockpit views are almost useless, no way to see anything usefull.- Aircraft nose shape looking weird. What a shame for superb gmax model. Some guys said it's "OK" but it's not. A nose-job is needed.- A/T commands TO N1 always %2 more, in fact %4 !!! more because I always use RTO 2 with +50C Derate.- LNAV is overshooting turning point for next nawpoint, speed independent. - VNAV DES Now. not working, this must be done for VATSIM Flyers- VNAV LCB, CRS, DES speeds are always same, 315/.755 if I recall correctly. I wasn't expecting this and this is not a bug. Just an incomplete item.Honestly, I find 737NG is operable as it is. I know they will make a patch but I wonder if the PMDG will continue the systems.
July 14, 200322 yr Commercial Member ToniTo get the VC view, make sure you select the proper airplane in the aircraft selection menu. There are a number of each available, including 2D only, VC, and VC & Cabin. Also, to view the cabin, you will need Active Camera (available in the library at Avsim) in order to walk through the cockpit door and tour the rear of the aircraft.VinPMDGwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.vinscimone.com/dancnkid.gif Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
July 14, 200322 yr No, it is on "left". Even when I explicitly select "all" I cannot change the left tank. The aircraft on my default flight has 4 tanks and the selectore here is on "all".I can alter the tank before starting anything on the 737 (I only switch on battery, apu + gens and the fuel pumps). July 21, 200322 yr Has anyone else noticed that when you turn on the yaw damper the light above the yaw damper switch stays on - shouldn't it be extinguished. I've only ever turned it on during cruise - must try doing it on the ground as per the normal operating procedures manual which I've just read. (I'm at work at the moment so can't try it just now). Anyway, its a small point.
July 21, 200322 yr HiIf it's modelled after the real thing it should be a delay between switch on and yaw damper light goes out. This is due to the spin-up time for the gyros that provides directional guidance to this function. If the warning light stays on permanently it is something else.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
July 21, 200322 yr I have the impression that the yaw damper depends on some other system (bleed or hydraulics?). When following the normal procedures to startup the engine the yaw damper is switched on early and according to the procedures the lamp should extinguish. But is stays on until the right system is started later on. I would guess without knowing that the procedure isn't correct and the system is modeled corretly. Thomas
July 23, 200322 yr You're right - I waited awhile and the yaw damper light does indeed go out. I didn't know there were gyros associated with this. Thanks!
July 25, 200322 yr Hi, please let me contribute with two ohter "issues" I had to experience.1. Display Units black, No Instruments! The other night flying online I must have pushed a wrong button while typing into squawkbox commandline and all of a sudden my displays became black (while engines still running). There was no way to get "electricity" back. This is how it looked like:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/25637.jpgThe overheadpanel was almost unusuable as I got this strange view:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/25638.jpgAs navigation without any indications became almost impossible I cheated and changed FS2002 to daylight conditions which looked like this:http://forums.avsim.com/user_files/25640.jpgDo I need to say that I managed to finish a visual approach at Madrid but crashed being unable to rectract landing gear....:-)2. A/T problemThe next problem is about A/T which SOMETIMES I am unable to de-activate. Even with A/T, AP and FD OFF the aircraft increases speed on final and even after touchdown. F1 does not help nor does deactivating joystick. The only way to stop the 737 is to cut off the engines. As this does not happen all the time I have no idea what could be the reason for such strange behaviour. My only hope is the patch will bring a solution.Best regardsUlliwww.edll.de
