December 8, 200817 yr As someone who hopes to be flying a real 717-200 in about 5 years, I also vote for that after the NGX and A320 (if that's still on the back burner). Enough long haul! Lets put in 20 flights in one day! Ryan Gamurot Ryan Gamurot
December 8, 200817 yr I think it would be cool to explore the corporate world, exploring aircraft like a Lear 55 or a Falcon 500, would be cool, of coarse anything PMDG touches turns to gold and that is why I don't mind paying more for a PMDG add on than the sim cost.Michael P.
December 9, 200817 yr id like to see a gulfstream.. maybe a g4 or g5.... havnt seen any of those around in the payware world JR
December 9, 200817 yr They really stopped? This would be very unfortunate! I was looking forward having a top quality classic heavy with a flight engineer on the flight deck. Too bad really :(MarkusYeah Markus they appeared to have thrown in the towel. I was on the Beta team for that project, the forum disappeared and then came back up saying project canceled.I never even heard anything from management either! We were very far along too. :( Now I need to find something else to do with all of my DC-10 manuals and Hi Res cockpit photos (thinly veiled hint there) :(
December 9, 200817 yr Commercial Member Yeah Markus they appeared to have thrown in the towel. I was on the Beta team for that project, the forum disappeared and then came back up saying project canceled.I never even heard anything from management either! We were very far along too. :( Now I need to find something else to do with all of my DC-10 manuals and Hi Res cockpit photos (thinly veiled hint there) :(Thanks for that. It is a shame considering how far along they already were. I really miss the brain challenge of flying INS ever since the days RFP was state of the art.Markus Markus Burkhard
December 10, 200817 yr id like to see a gulfstream.. maybe a g4 or g5.... havnt seen any of those around in the payware worlda shame but you ll never see a G payware see my post above ...!!!
December 11, 200817 yr Seems Bombardier doesn't want to play either, http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/bomb...S/systems/0001/ Jim Driscoll, MSI Raider GE76 12UHS-607 17.3" Gaming Laptop Computer - Blue Intel Core i9 12th Gen 12900HK 1.8GHz Processor; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti 16GB GDDR6; 64GB DDR5-4800 RAM; Dual M2 2TB Solid State Drives.Driving a Sony KD-50X75, and KDL-48R470B @ 4k 3724x2094,MSFS 2020, 30 FPS on Ultra Settings. December 11, 200817 yr Seems Bombardier doesn't want to play either, http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/bomb...S/systems/0001/ That stuff from that site is a little different matter. Keep in mind there is a payware CRJ and the Lear 45 is included in Flight Simulator. Tom Landry
December 11, 200817 yr Keep in mind there is a payware CRJ and the Lear 45 is included in Flight Simulator.Yeah .. BUT .. whatever is "included" in FS is really a joke and not a simulation and many payware aircraft don't even come close to fidelity that PMDG offers. Many of those payware aircraft even use standard FS-provided autopilot which can't even properly track ILS beam.Talking about real world flying - Bombardier 604 just received WAAS/LPV approach certification. Michael J.
December 11, 200817 yr I know that this will be clich Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
December 11, 200817 yr AFTER NGX:My PMDG Wishlist:B777-300RJ85/RJ100B717 Philip D. Schmidt Jensen - Denmark
December 12, 200817 yr Definitely the B777. I'm puzzled why no one has done one for FSX, as it seems to me to be one of the most popular long-haul aircraft in the real world.Bob Lyons
December 12, 200817 yr Seems Bombardier doesn't want to play either, http://www.smartcockpit.com/pdf/plane/bomb...S/systems/0001/ i dont think this is the same story as if you read on the link why they removed the datas : copyright datas ... this is not related to simming but only about someone posting copyrighted datas ... now about companies in any area they put copyright to protect legal customers if they want some datas for the public it should the light version as some pay and you cannot give for free ... just my two cents.phil
December 12, 200817 yr Would you be prepared to back that up with some kind of link?I wished I had, but there is nothing available on the internet that I know about. :(I only wanted people to know that there is a 717-200 being worked on and hopefully to the level PMDG has shown us is possible. :(
December 12, 200817 yr I think the ERJ or CRJ would be excellent choices - I would love to see a PMDG Legacy, for example. The MD-11 is great, but I am not so much into the long-haul thing and like to stay busy with all of the take off, climb, descent and landing procedures....I think a CRJ with the PMDG touch would be awesome as well.Michael P.
