May 28, 200917 yr And the GNS530... I am speechless!!ps. and the mouse wheel works on all the knobs.... am I dreaming?Seriously folks, not often that the authors take all the user requests and then proceed to exceed our collective expectations!Thank you Rob, thank you Sean!! Bert
May 28, 200917 yr Hey Bert that looks really good with the GNS530. Is there any difference between the 430 and 530? I just bought the 430 but I think I will exchange it for the 530 (same price but much larger map) So far the Duke is the only thing I intend to use it in. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
May 29, 200917 yr Is there any difference between the 430 and 530?They are both great... As you mentioned, the 530 has the bigger map, but the 430 fits ina half high slot, which makes it more versatile when replacing a KLN unit, as in the PC12 for example.I'd go for both.. :( Bert

May 29, 200917 yr I'd like to thank Real Air for this sp1-having a real working gps in this already incredible aircraft is cake-and the ability to tune/turn knobs in whatever fashion you like is above the call to duty. Many thanks! Geofa WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!
May 30, 200917 yr mousewheel ! yeah! three cheers for RealAir!!!and now for the bad news: Cold and Dark option --- still not working :(
May 30, 200917 yr I know this is not the screenshot forum... but I just had to post one more view of the RXP GNSoption, as it looks installed in the Duke.I cannot think of any cockpit that has this level of 3d detail... wow! Bert

May 30, 200917 yr and now for the bad news: Cold and Dark option --- still not working :( .. ....on your particular system you mean? Clearly if it didn't work at all then we'd know about it, but it worked fine in several weeks of testing and still does here. So we need to find out what is different between systems that seem to have no problems with cold and dark and others that cannot make it stick. Do you have any third party addons which change the way your FSX works? Have you tried loading a default aircraft, then switching off the engine (you shouldn't have to do a complete shutdown) before loading the Duke?Meantime a workaround is to shut everything down then save the flight if cold and dark is really important. Not perfect but effective! You can e-mail me at any time if you'd like more detailed and in depth troubleshooting.
