Curt,It sounds like there is nothing wrong then! - the VC and outside views should have very similar sound characteristics and behaviour, this is by design on all PMDG aircraft.

Sorry if this has been solved or asked... I have my J41 installed and flying beautifully. However, I don't have the so called PMDG Option in my Alt Menu.Any help would be appreciated as this may solve the numourous sound issues that I'm having.

There is no menu that I know of.. It's with the 747 and MD-11 I think ;)

Thanks Bob, after some investigation I found that .NET Framework 2.0 SP1 and 3.0 SP1 come with Windows Vista64 and I installed .NET 3.5SP1, everything seems to be fine now after I ran windows update and the hotfixes were installed. Appreciate your help.Best,Robert

Hi, there!I have purchased this awesome turboprop today and unfortunately I have to report here I also have often CDTs after JS41 flights and always closing FSX application if I fly this plane. On the other hand JS41 missions load flawlessly and I didn't notice any CDTs during flight. That is why I suppose there is some hidden dynamic memory allocation bug...

Well, I have no Acceleration add-on - just SP2 - and my FMS turns on well. By the way I discovered there is a year old 0808 AIRAC cycle shipped with JS41.

I'm affraid I have two problems with the J41 that at least one has been mentioned by others. When doing the tutorial flight, everything works fine, but if I create my own flight to save the panel state as cold and dark (example, I saved a cold and dark cockpit at KIAD) I can't turn on the FMC and I can't get the start locks removed unless I use the unfeather switch. Even when using that it doesn't start properly. The start locks are removed when using the unfeather, but then I get an engine fire when starting. Again, the tutorial flight works great, but anything user created causes these two problems. I wish you good luck resolving the user issues and a good SP1 release. I'll fly the tutorial flight for now or a flight loaded when everything is turned on and running for the time being.Chad

Hi guys,did you thought about a "Sound Volume Controle"?I am flying most of the times Online, and it would be nice to be able to controle the volumeof the Cockpit. The FSX soundsliders are not effecting the sound of the JS41 and when i amreducing the main volume, i cant understand the other Pilots anymore.Tristan

Hi Tristan I have a couple of solutions for you. 1. The jetstream doesn't have its own sound volume in the addons tab. That belongs to the 747 if you have it installed.If you fly online with Vatsim try changing you setup for FSInn ....Go to your FSFDT control panel" the traffic lights in your task bar" click show, Then on the left hand side go to sound and expand that, then go to vatsim. On the right hand side choose direct sound with your headset and mic. Now your sound will be seprate to your aircraft sound and you will hear the controllers very clear. Go back to your FSX sound setting and turn them all back up and enjoy!!!!!CheersAndrew.

HiI noticed that DBS Walk&Follow does'nt work with PMDG Jetstream?? If i take other plane Walk&Follow works fine.

Any possibility of getting the BETA / Reverse range adjusted for those of us with throttle quadrants so we can get to max reverse on the levers?Thanks :)

I have full reverse beta working with my CH Quad. I am using FSUIPC but I believe CH manager will work as well. I am using the lowest detent to select 'F5' and then 'F1' when released.

Yes, your going to need to improve your airmanship skills. :( As stated in the manual, spoilers are not approved for use while in flight.

There is no PMDG menu with the J41, that's the old PMDGOptions.dll (loads with the MD-11 or 744) and it won't be used on our products from now on.

They can't be deployed in flight.. but that information can be found in the manual..First, congrats to this great plane! This is the first PMDG-plane I've bought, and it's brilliant.I only got issues on the FMC:Sometimes it works as it should.Sometimes it can't be turned on (simply blank, without the yellow box)Sometimes only the FPL-knob works (which will be fixed, as i read)Another thing: I saved a flight with the J41 at ramp cold&dark. When I load it, engines begin running up..And: If I choose a J41 livery 1, load it and then try to load another J41 with livery 2 there's a CTD.Sometimes Spoilers don't deploy or retract (which has been fixed).Anyway, a great plane!Matthias Hanel
