January 12, 201016 yr Rob,I have been using the (great!) Duke without any issues. Yet since I updated to V1.5 I cannot start engines unless I use CTRL+E.I am doing probably something wrong but I cannot figure out what. Can you please provide some suggestions of things I should be looking at to solve this problem?ThanksEdmundoHi Edmundo,This is strange because, if anything, we increased the reliablility of engine starting with stronger starter torque. You can access this parameter in the Starter Torque entry within the ENGINE section of the aircraft cfg and if necessary increase the torque value. But I suspect there might be other reasons for your issue. Please make sure you have put the mixture controls fully forward, unless you are at altitude in which case the mixture control might be better somewhat reduced.regards,Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
January 12, 201016 yr I had trouble starting the Duke until I realized that the fuel valves were both off. :(
January 12, 201016 yr I have found starting the fuel pumps to boost the fuel pressure helps too. In hot weather I have found the pumps and a little open throttle to be necessary also."They will stop me from flying my Duke when they pry the yoke from my dead cold fingers" Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
January 13, 201016 yr give just about the most flexible options you could wish for. The circular motion of any control wheel does not have an "up" or "down".... that's why it is circular!Rob - RealAirI know and appreciate very much the flexibility included. I truly seem to be the only one who finds this mousewheel thing annoying. I have so many other add-ons where it works that way: mousewheel up for switch up, down for swtich down, and I got so used to that. The duke seems to be the only add-on where this is counter-intuitive. But, I guess it's just me. It doesn't keep me from enjoying a great aircraft whenever I can! And as I said - your after sales support is stellar. No other developer comes even close.

You can place the mouse over the switch and drag it towards you, which is "down" in your proposed orientation, or away from you, which is "up". What I meant was that the notion of "up" (mousewheel) differs among different users. Some see it as "forward" or "back". To me "up" means lifting something up, not turning something round.Best Wishes,Rob - RealAir Robert Young - retired full time developer - see my Nexus Mod Page and my GitHub Mod page
January 13, 201016 yr BE60 Duke info:http://realairsimulations.com/duke09/intro...ge=duke09_introUpdate info:http://realairsimulations.com/content1.php...duke09_v15_info Hi,Could someone help meI bought the RealAir Duke B60 at simMarket sometime ago before SP1 and installed it. Recently I received an e-mail from simMarket telling me that the 1.5 update was available for download at my account. I downloaded the update and runned it and received the following message: "Setup can not create the following folder: \RealAir\duke09\AutoPlay\Audio" with the option to Repeat or Cancel. Repeat does nothing and Cancel is obvious, the update is not installed on either options.I thought in downloading the original installer and reinstall from scratch since the installer may already be updated to version 1.5 but I'm not sure of that since otherwise I would be advised to use it instead of the update. Please someone advise? Thanks n regardsALG Antonio Lapa Gomes LPPT - LIS / PORTUGAL http://www.airsimmer.com/pic/et_1.png

Thank you.Rob - RealAirHi Rob,Thank you for your kind reply. I have done as suggested, uninstalled previous installed and after making the download of the installer I have in my simMarket account I reinstalled it. Now I have a question, where in FSX or in the installer Can I verify that the latest version installed is the 1.5 ? because the size of my installer has not changed since the original.regardsALG Antonio Lapa Gomes LPPT - LIS / PORTUGAL http://www.airsimmer.com/pic/et_1.png
January 13, 201016 yr Check your Duke Config Panel. Top right corner should read V1.5 - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space

Any rocker switch will toggle with either a mouse click or a wheel click. You can move the wheel up when the switch is down, and it will move up, just like you expect it to. :( Yes, you can also move the switch back down with the wheel (in either direction). So as long as you move the wheel in the samedirection as you want the switch to move, it will work for you. Bert

January 14, 201016 yr Has anyone had any luck modifying the aircraft.cfg to make the pitot heat work again? (if it is at all possible to make it work via a tweak)
