8WA6 is where our planes are based, but it's private. KMWH, Moses Lake is the closest Class D airspace airport, and we're smack in between KSEA Seattle (Class :( and KGEG Spokane (Class C) for our closes majors.

Major is EGKK, about 30 miles to the north, local is EGKA about 7 miles along the coast - and both take about the same time to get to :(

i live about 2 hour drive to CYEG (edmonton intl.) and about 1 hour 40 minutes to cyxd (edmonton city center) but if the city center closes its cooking lake about 2 hour drive but since i live in st albert it matters on the traffic

Major airport: I live almost midway between CYVR (about 40 kilometers to the west) and CYXX (about 43 kilometers to the east).

Man, you're a lucky one. Wish I could be there one day! Well what can I say. Three miles from EDDF close to some of those extended runway centerlines, that gives a good thousand feet for the folks above me on their finals. Nearest field is EDFE, couple more miles away though. Yeah, EDDF is actually whole lot closer, just had to recheck GMaps just to make sure.

Major: KPIT - Pittsburgh International, about an hour's drive on highways.Any: 51PN - Uncontrolled unserviced heliport in the industrial park a quarter mile away.Any (if you discount heliports :( ): 77PA - Nardo, private airstrip.

it is LOWW for me for both, Just about 15 Miles away or ~20 Minutes when there is no traffic jam

Wow, lots of very interesting responces. I'm envious to some of your locations! I'm close enough to Boston that I have a plane overhead every minute or so and was just out on the porch talking to my sister and was asked if I was listening since I always seem to have my eyes on them haha. I would love to live as close as some of you do. I could sit and watch them all night.I think I may stay in tonight and just fly some of these airports and get even more envious :(
