September 12, 201015 yr Morn'n...Yeah - no CoolSky Pro for FS9 - it's a shame - one of my favorite birds... Modded my classic with ISGsim to gain FMC...I'm not really an NG guy - but - I'm convinced from the feedback - IFly is my next plane !!! Flight1 has always been my vendor of choice... Outstanding service - Steve !!!I have both FS9 and FSX loaded. I have purchased way more than $1,000.00 in FS9 addons and $0.00 on FSX. The huge number of addons and the ability to support massive volumes of AI traffic still make FS9 the perfect vehicle for pushing tin. GA seems to excel on FSX though - those Orbx guys have got it going on...Regards,Scott
January 27, 201115 yr Tried a couple flights in the bird on a friend's computer, but he has the first release. Despite a few bugs that bug me, i would invest in this product if I wasn't already using the PMDG 737. If I had to choose FS9 vs. FSX version - I would use FS9 because I KNOW it would run smooth on my PC. FSX, not so much.I don't have access to their forums, so could anyone please indicate what fixes are coming? Here is what I would hope for:Joystick needs to NOT cut out the autopilot - it caused a few headaches (and may be related to the next note).A/T seems to not work right - in the 737 I should be able to firewall the throttle, and it will not pass the N1 limit (and A/T also does not set T/O thrust for me either).Better door control - I press shft-e and ALL of them open up.VC click spots are not precise enough at an angle to know which switch is going which way.the POSITION/STROBE light positions are backwards in the 2d panel, and the numerical keypad at one point was backwards too.And what's with the excessive power for taxi??? 32%N1 just to keep rolling otherwise I slow down. No way.EDIT: The create such beautiful wings (texturing and flexing amazing), and they can't share wing views???? TOO BAD!!! Hopefully at least just the wings if not the entire cabin. January 27, 201115 yr Still not a PMDGThank goodness, some competition :( Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
January 27, 201115 yr Don't care. Still not a PMDGIt is definitely a good idea to discount any and all other companies based solely on brand name. :( Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

My interest in the product has been piqued recently. AHA - trying to find a bootleg, are you? LOL. Aleksandar Djordjevic
January 28, 201115 yr Don't care. Still not a PMDGHelloNot a PMDG but still better and from a company that supports FS9 which counts for a lot as far a my future purchasing decisions go
January 28, 201115 yr You know what, sure it may be more advanced than the PMDG and have a lot more features, but THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PMDG PLANE!!!! I just flew it from KSAN-KSEA and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. It had a wing view, it had great sounds, it flew well, and it made me feel great. That's all I really need. Sure the VC is old, but at least I can get all the clickspots right!! (the soundset PMDG has is my favourite) Aleksandar Djordjevic
January 28, 201115 yr I agree that the PMDG is still better than the iFly. And even more considering the age difference. The only main problem with the PMDG bird is the stutters when flying from the VC...The iFly is turning out to be another QWings, IMHO.The product has got some potential but they don't seem to be interested in trying to make it perfect...I hope to be wrong though.Ghiom
January 28, 201115 yr The iFly is turning out to be another QWings, IMHO.I hope to be wrong though. Not even close and you are.Unlike PMDG, I will gladly support any company that keeps it's eyes open and will still produce quaility addons for FS9.I own both and the PMDG is off my system. I have no idea how you could witness the effort and support put into this product and say that with a straight face. Weird. - Aaron
January 28, 201115 yr Don't get me wrong. Ifly's support is awesome, probably the best. Steve is doing a great job.I just get a feeling that they want to issue the FSX version ASAP and then work on the -300/400/500. I would have personally preferred they spend more time tweaking and tuning their already excellent product.Different approach than Level-d.Ghiom
