This brings back memories! :( Munich to Tel Aviv was the first flight I did in real life in 1980.On board an El Al B707. I do not know which 707 version. Maybe David knows, what they flew that time?Wolfgang
According to Wikipedia it was a 707-300C.

Waiting for it to come up on Simmarket. I have been checking throughout the day. no luck yet. I'd buy is straight from the developer's website put I prefer to purchase things from the same site. It helps when you need to re-download things and find keys.

Here are some very first impressions:If you are worried about framerates - be happy. On my system, this airport isn't even noticeable - could as well fly over a rural landscape. EXCELLENT!It looks and feels very nice. That's not one of the most compley airports ever built, but there is so much nice little detail in it. FSADDON quality.Only problem encountered so far is with AI traffic from MyTraffic X on one runway where the planes have to turn around to start - they tend to deadlock each other at this point. Should be fixable in the AFCAD, I think.Well worth the money, and nice place to fly to. If you want more stuff in Israel, this is the place to look:http://www.israeli-scenery.org/Complements LLBG with more nice airports and a great landclass file for Israel.Greetings from LOWW,Bernhard

Hi Bernard, thanks!I was wondering about that AI traffic myself. I (of course) run My Traffic X and saw some problem, but our beta testers assured me it wasn't visible on their machines. Not sure now if we can fix it, whether or not it is an MyTraffic, AFCAD or Ben Gurion problem.... will ask Dabid to have another look into that.

Francois, just want to confirm you sent an email out with a patch for LLBG a couple days ago? Want to confirm prior to opening it.

Isn't the 707-349C simply a member of the 707-300C series? I mean, KLM doesn't have any 747-400 in their fleet. They only have 747-406 in their fleet. Why? Because 06 is their customer code. So, by that logic, 49 is bound to be an airline's customer code. Maybe not El Al's, but they could have leased it or bought it from another company. As a matter of fact, I think El Al's is 58, which would be reasonable seeing that they had a 707-458 and -358B.So, back to the point: Wikipedia wasn't incorrect, simply incomplete.Bernhard: the link brings me to an empty page. Is it a temporary issue on their side or mine?

Bernhard, I get the same empty link. And yes, I need for scenery for Israel! Funny, my first flight to the new LLBG is from LOWW - in flight right now.Actually, this link seems to have a pretty good selection: http://www.vatil.org/vatil/downloads/?cat=19. I think these are the same sceney files that were located at the broken link - Israel Scenery Project. I can't imagine that there is a slew of scenery projects out there for Kiryat Shemona, Haifa and Herzlia so I would bet these are the same files. I did a quick check of the new LLBG scenery and it seems to work fine with the other Tel Aviv stuff I have installed. Also, on that quick inspection, FPS were fine with 100% UT2 Traffic and 20$ road traffic. It looks good. Satellite ground scenery is better than Latin VFR. Buildings are better than ImagineSim.Am Yisrael Chai!

To be really accurate Boeing never produced a "707-300" serie so the info is not incomplete, it's wrong. The 707-120 was followed by the 707-320 and 707-420 series.El Al had two 707-320 (called 707-358B and 707-349C) and one 707-420 (called 707-458) for their for commercial flights.
Am Yisrael Chai!

Unfortunalety I ditched the El Al inflight Magazine from that 1980 flight only a couple of years ago. In this magazine the complete El Al fleet would have been listed.Wolfgang

Correct, I did. It contains some 6 files that go into the scenery folder. David corrected something and then placed the OLD version of these in the final product... alas! You can also download the 'fix' fro our website, downloads section.
