The fact that the manuals are out now in my opinion means that the plane will be released 2010.
- Firstable, I think the same. I think its a commercial trick of PMDG to release the 737NGX after the release of the 737NGX manuals. All in hope that people cannot wait anymore for the release so they buy already the manuals to fill in their "waiting" time. And now PMDG is giving these sales of the manuals a couple of weeks and wait approximately one week before christmas and then they are going to release the 737NGX. Beside that, people's money are burning to spent, so they already spent it to the manuals. A nice commercial trick to get more sales of these manuals. But at all a nice commercial trick ofcourse PMDG! (note: It can be but also not. I'm not telling the truth (or maybe I do) but I'm just telling what it can be)
There are two options which might caused it to change:2) They realized they can't release it 2010, so they had to change it.
- Secondly, by changing the word "soon" can have the meaning of the PMDG group by telling the consumers that they have to delay the release date for the 737NGX to 2011. But because they do not want to disappoint all consumers, they are ofcourse not telling us: "It's going to be delayed to 2011." So tht can be a reason for changing "2010" to "soon." - But, if you take the word "soon" literally, then it's not bad to think that the release of the 737NGX will be indeed "soon" thus yet.But to all people, keep in mind: PMDG never want to disappoint their consumers. Of course they want to release the 737NGX today, now! But if it really cannot be done (because of bugs or anything else, in this case the beta fase) thenPMDG will not release it.andOr you will get disappointed if the 737NGX will be released now with full of bugs OR you will be disappointed because the release is delayed to 2011 but then you have atleast no (or less) bugs. What you want? :(

Let's just wait, I don't hink it will give us anything to speculate on changes on pages :) Well if it was within hours like the manuals it would be good though. Wherever they release before or after new year does not matter a lot to me, as long as it comes in god shape as the previous addons, that's all that matters. And I don't believe they would go the way another developper did :(

I'm going to break a personal rule of mine NOT to contribute to these kinds of threads...but I just have to ask: Where do you guys find these videos??Just%20Kidding.gif And I'm always amazed at the lengths folks go throught to analyze evey PMDG pronouncement to find the hidden meaning...wild.

I`m sure it`ll be here in its own good time, not too much longer to wait.I was told 3 years ago I`d have a nice new state-of-the-art (real) Boeing 787 to play with in 2011, and thats still nowhere to be seen, not even close, the only thing on offer is an airbus A330 :( ,no thanks.Imagine my pain and heartache with that one!cheersJon Bunting

Now that I think about, that change could also mean that they're not even sure about 2011.

You're right. Really, you sure know your stuff. Loser.gifPMDG recently updated us by saying that the NGX went from internal to external testing. This means they have now handed the plane over to real world NG pilots, engineers and designers. HINT: This means to airplane is pretty much assembled, the model is surely there and most if not all the system's coding is finalized. But lets face it, It only took 11 months for us to see the first HUGS image to PMDG releasing the manuals over to the public, updating their servers and also hinting us as to how the NGX is progressing. Yea, another 12 months will wizz by before we see the NGX on our hard drives...

If you listen carefully enough, you can hear the screams of a thousand simmers. :(
